½ cup mayonnaise

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Mix coleslaw mix, pineapple, and onion together in a bowl.
  • Whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, brown sugar, cilantro, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until dressing is smooth. Pour dressing over coleslaw mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate.

For the Sauce (FS= Finely Shredded)
¼ cup fresh ginger root, chopped (FS- 1 tbsp)
12 cloves (about one head) fresh garlic (FS- 3-4 cloves garlic)
3/4 cup apple cider vinegar ( 3 tbsp)
½ cup pure pressed olive oil ( 2 tbsp)
1/4 cup sesame oil (can replace with additional olive oil) (FS- 1 tbsp)
1 cup almond butter or tahini* (¼ cup)
½ cup naturally fermented soy sauce (2 tbsp)
½ cup raw honey (2 tbsp)
For the Salad
2 medium green cabbages, thinly sliced (FS- ½ a cabbage)
1 small red cabbage, thinly sliced (FS- ¼ red cabbage)
1 small napa cabbage, thinly sliced (FS- ¼ napa cabbage)
4 orange or red bell peppers, thinly sliced (dice 1 bell pepper)
1 bunch green onions, chopped (3-4 green onions)
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped (½ cup fresh cilantro)
½ cup toasted sesame seeds to top (2 tbsp)

Steps:

  • Put the garlic and fresh ginger in a blender and pulse until finely minced. Place the remaining sauce ingredients in a blender and whirl until it is smooth. Set the dressing aside to allow the flavors to mingle.
  • Use a slicing tool on a food processor and slice the cabbages. Slice the peppers into thin julienne strips.
  • Chop the green onions and cilantro. Combine the salad ingredients, add the sauce right before serving and top with sesame seeds (to toast sesame seeds place on a cookie sheet and put in the oven at 350F for 5 or so minutes, keep an eye on them).

1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons pineapple juice ((reserved from draining the can of pineapple tidbits))

one 10-15 oz. bag coleslaw mix (or about 4-5 cups shredded cabbage (just green or a mix of red and green cabbage))
1 cup pineapple tidbits (from a can, drained)
1/2 cup macadamia nuts, (coarsely chopped)

  • In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, pineapple juice, salt, and pepper, and stir until smooth and combined.

2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoons crushed black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup KING'S HAWAIIAN Smoked Bacon BBQ Sauce
2 cups beef broth
2 bay leaves
10 peppercorn
1/2 head shredded Napa cabbage
1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup toasted and chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup shredded red cabbage
1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Mix seasoned salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, and chili powder together in a small bowl. Season pork on all sides with spice mix, cover with 1/2 cup of KING'S HAWAIIAN Smoked Bacon BBQ Sauce and place in medium size pan. Add broth, bay leaves and peppercorns.
