Steps:
- Calienta el aceite en una sartén antiadherente a fuego medio-alto. Agrega la carne en tandas; cocínala 8 a 10 min. o hasta que esté parejamente dorada, revolviéndola de vez en cuando. Coloca las zanahorias, cebolla y papas en el fondo de una olla de cocción lenta; coloca la carne encima de las verduras (vegetales). Vierte 1/2 taza de la salsa para asar sobre la carne; espolvoréala con los gránulos de café. Tapa la olla.
- Cocina todo a temperatura BAJA de 7 a 8 horas (o a temperatura ALTA durante 5 horas).
- Incorpora los chícharos y la salsa para asar restante. Cocínalos tapados por 15 min. más o hasta que estén completamente calientes.

- Cocina la carne a fuego BAJO de 8 a 9 horas (o a fuego ALTO de 6 a 7 horas).
