GRILLED REUBEN BRATS
A 30-minute meal starts with tasty, Reuben-style fixings for hot-off-the-grill brats.

Steps:
- Heat gas or charcoal grill. In 2-quart saucepan, heat beer to boiling. Add bratwurst; reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
- Drain bratwurst. Place on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 5 to 10 minutes, turning once, until brown.
- Spread dressing on cut sides of buns. Place bratwurst in buns; top with cheese, bratwurst and sauerkraut.

GRILLED REUBEN SANDWICHES
These are terrific! Even my sauerkraut hating DH liked these! I like to use my George Foreman Grill for these. Serve with potato salad and crispy dill pickles.

Steps:
- Spread each slice of bread with thousand island dressing.
- Top 4 of the bread slices with sauerkraut, cheese and corned beef.
- Place remaining bread slices on sandwich.
- Spray butter flavored papm on the outsides of each sandwich.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Grill until browned, then turn and grill until heated through, and cheese is melted.

BEARS BRAT

Steps:
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Add the apples, onions, beer salt and pepper in a medium pot or Dutch oven. Simmer until the apples and onions soften, a few minutes. Add in the brats and simmer until cooked through, about 10 minutes, turning once. Remove the brats from the liquid and reserve the beer braising liquid.
- Brown the brats on the grill, covering with a metal bowl if using a grill pan, until you get nice grill marks on all sides, 5 to 6 minutes.
- Place the brats on the buns and drizzle with some of the Beer Cheese Sauce. Top with the sauerkraut, some mustard and the jalapenos.
- Add the cheese and mustard to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until melted and smooth. Add the beer braising liquid and stir to combine. Add more braising liquid if the sauce is too thick; the sauce should be velvety.

- Grill brats over hot coals browning on all sides.
- Remove from grill and place in large kettle or dutch oven,.
- Cover with beer, onions and pepper.
- Simmer at least 1 hour not over direct heat.
- The heat removes the alcohol from the beer.
- Brats may be simmered for several hours just add more beer if it gets too low.
- Serve hot on toasted buns, with the peppers and onion or the toppings of your choice.

- In a large skillet, brown bratwurst in batches; drain. In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine beer, sliced onion and sauerkraut; add bratwurst. Cook, covered, on low 7-9 hours or until sausages are cooked through., Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, chili sauce, ketchup, chopped onion, relish, garlic and pepper until blended. Spread over cut sides of buns; top with cheese, bratwurst and sauerkraut mixture. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
