2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (6 ounce) can French fried onions
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place green beans and soup in a large microwave-safe bowl. Mix well and heat in the microwave on HIGH until warm (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese and heat mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer green bean mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with French fried onions and remaining cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven until the cheese melts and the onions just begin to brown.

2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1 large garlic clove, minced
2 cups finely chopped crimini mushrooms
1 tsp kosher salt, divided
1//4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dry sherry
3/4 cup whole milk, warm
3/4 cup half and half, warm
1 tsp worcestershire
2 14.5 oz cans green beans, no salt added, drained and shaken of all excess moisture
2 cups French fried onions
2 small onions, sliced thin
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a square baking dish (8x8 or 9x9 is fine).
  • For the casserole: In a large skillet, melt butter over a medium heat. Add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add ½ teaspoon salt. Stir. Reduce heat to low and whisk in flour. Cook one minute. Slowly whisk in sherry. Cook 30 seconds.
  • Slowly whisk in whole milk and half half making sure to get all lumps out. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer until thickened, about five minutes. Add in remaining salt and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in green beans, mix until combined. Stir in 1/2 cup of fried onions. Transfer to baking dish and top with remaining fried onions. Bake until onions are golden brown and filling is hot and bubbly.

2 (15 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
¾ cup milk
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (2.8 ounce) can French fried onions
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium casserole dish mix together green beans, milk, cream of mushroom soup, and 1/2 of the can of onions.
  • Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until heated through and bubbly. Sprinkle remaining onions over the top, and return to the oven for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2 (16 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
1 (8 ounce) can bamboo shoots, drained
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup French fried onion rings, the canned French's

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease/spray a casserole dish; set aside.
  • Mix together all ingredients EXCEPT the canned french-fried o-rings.
  • Pour into the prepared casserole dish.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with the canned french-fried onions.
  • Bake an additional 5-7 minutes until the french fried onions are golden brown.

  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium low heat until crisp. Remove to drain on paper towels, then crumble. Drain away all but about 2 tablespoons of the bacon grease, then return the pan to medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes or until translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are golden brown. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the undiluted mushroom soup and add the crumbled bacon back. Stir to combine. Stir in the milk and cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fold in the green beans until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Top with the fried onions. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until the casserole is hot a bubbly.
