The Champagne cocktail is a classic brandy drink with a brilliant visual effect. It's a very easy recipe and perfect for any special occasion.

Ingredients

1 sugar cube
2 to 3 dashes bitters (Angostura)
1 ounce brandy
4 to 6 ounces Champagne
Garnish: orange slice
Garnish: maraschino cherry

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
Place the sugar cube in the bottom of a Champagne flute .
Saturate the cube with bitters.
Add the brandy.
Fill with Champagne and watch the sugar cube dissolve.
Garnish with the orange slice and maraschino cherry. Serve and enjoy.

Ingredients

12 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur (4 jiggers of Grand Marnier)
4 teaspoons honey
4 fresh strawberries, tops trimmed
1 (750 ml) bottle champagne, well chilled

Steps:

Add the orange-flavored liqueur, honey and strawberries to a food processor and process until smooth.
Fill the chilled glasses halfway with the strawberry mixture and then fill the rest of the glass with Champagne.
