- Directions:
- Boil water.
- Meanwhile, place grated ginger and mint leaves in tea strainer**
- Place turmeric in mug and pour boiling water in. Stir quickly for several seconds until lumps are dissolved.
- Place tea bag in the mug with the turmeric.
- Place the strainer with the grated ginger and mint inside the mug with the green tea and turmeric. Pour boiling water in and let steep for several minutes.
- Remove strainer and reserve for second cup of tea. Add remaining mint leaves in the tea cup and gently muddle against the side of the cup, remove leaves with spoon, if desired. Squeeze several squirts of lemon (optional) in mug and enjoy! Note: You can reserve the tea in the strainer for several uses.
