Ginger Grapefruit Fizz Food

GINGER GRAPEFRUIT FIZZ

Steps:

• Fill glass with ice.
• Add vodka, ginger liqueur, grapefruit juice and lime juice; stir.
• Top with ginger beer. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.

GINGER-GRAPEFRUIT FIZZ

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, bring the first six ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes. Refrigerate until cold. Strain syrup, discarding ginger and peppercorns., Using water, moisten rims of eight cocktail glasses. Sprinkle coarse sugar on a plate; hold each glass upside down and dip rims into sugar. Discard remaining sugar on plate., In a pitcher, combine grapefruit juice and syrup. Pour 1/2 cup into prepared glasses over ice; top with 1/2 cup sparkling water.

GRAPEFRUIT BOURBON FIZZ

Steps:

• Pour 1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice into a pitcher. Wrap 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger in a piece of cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel and squeeze the juice into the pitcher. Stir in two 12-ounce bottles grapefruit beer, one 12-ounce bottle grapefruit soda and 3/4 cup bourbon. Divide among 4 glasses filled with ice. Garnish with crystallized ginger.

GINGER GRAPEFRUIT FIZZ COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Preheat the broiler.
• Remove some of the grapefruit peel for a twist garnish, then cut the grapefruit in half. Place the grapefruit halves on a baking sheet flesh-side up and sprinkle the sugar evenly over the tops. Place under the broiler until the sugar is caramelized, about 6 minutes.
• Meanwhile, fill a highball glass with ice and add the vodka. Remove the toasty grapefruit and squeeze the juice into the glass. Top with the ginger ale and garnish with the grapefruit twist.

GRAPEFRUIT GINGER FIZZ

Steps:

• In a tall glass, muddle the rosemary and sugar together until the rosemary is very fragrant and broken down a bit.
• Fill the glass with ice and add in the grapefruit juice; stir.
• Top with ginger beer, add the garnishes and serve immediately.
