MAKE A DOUBLE BATCH--THIS STUFF IS ENCRIDIBLE! If you use round hawaian bread..pull out part of the middle and use for bread pudding :-) I don't use poppy seeds bcz they are too expensive

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

1 pkg hawaiian bread rolls
1 onion, minced
1 stick butter
3 Tbsp dijon mustard
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
3 tsp poppy seeds
1/2 lb shaved ham
8 oz mozzarella cheese

Steps:

1. Melt Butter in skillet and add Onions. Combine Mustard, Worchester Sauce, and Poppy Seeds into Butter and Onion. Simmer for several minutes.
2. Slice rolls as a group lengthwise and place rolls in an aluminum foil lined 9 x 13 pan.
3. Spread 3/4 onion mixture onto bottom half of rolls..Then layer ham and cheese slices.
4. Top with the roll tops. Spread the remaining onion mixture onto the roll tops. Cover with foil and bake 20 min. at 350 degrees.

Remove the rolls from the plastic bag and cut in half for a sandwich. Do not pull the rolls apart, you will be cutting the loaf into just two pieces.
Layer ham evenly over the top of the bottom stack of rolls. Then layer the cheese slices (or grated cheese if you bought fresh) over the top of the ham.
Place the top of the rolls on top to form a loaf of sandwiches. Place entire loaf into a baking dish. Cover with foil and place in fridge until ready to bake.
