This is from Frys Cocoa Powder can, the only difference is that I add the cornstarch which adds creaminess. I also add a pinch of cinnamon sometimes, to add another element of flavour.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cold milk or 1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
1 cup hot milk

Steps:

Blend the cocoa powder, sugar, cold milk and cornstarch together well.
In a saucepot heat the one cup milk, to simmering point, and stir in the ingredients, and cook for one or two minutes, until dissolved and hot. Stirring well.
Pour into cup, top with mallows or whipped cream.

From Fry's Cocoa Powder comes one of the best brownie recipes I've ever had. They are so soft and chewy it's hard to stop at just one!

1 1/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup nuts (optional)

Steps:

Stir together flour, baking podwer and salt in a small bowl.
Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts if using. Pour batter into a greased 9x13in pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F Cool.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Make sure that the butter is at room temperature, or put the butter in the microwave for about 15 seconds just to soften it up.
Using a mixer, cream the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until everything is incorporated and you're left with a luscious chocolate dough.
Make truffle-sized balls and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for exactly 8 minutes--no longer--no less.
Let them cool.
