FROZEN GRAPES WITH SAUTERNES GRANITA
A French dessert wine and grapes add sophistication to this simple granita, which requires only four ingredients and a freezer.

Steps:
- Cut about half of the grapes in half. Spread all of the grapes in an 8-inch square baking dish. Pour Sauternes and water over grapes, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Place dish in freezer until liquid has started to crystallize on the top and at the edges, about 1 hour. Scrape granita with fork tines, transfer to individual glasses, and serve.
GREEN GRAPE GRANITA
This is refreshing. I like to make it when the grapes are on sale and I'm craving something sweet but not high in sugar. Weight Watchers...a serving is only 2 points!

Steps:
- Blend grapes, juices and mint until smooth.
- Freeze mixture in shallow baking pan until it's almost solid - 1 to 2 hours depending on your freezer.
- Remove from freezer, break up pieces and blend in blender again.
- Serve with lime wedge.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together wine, honey, and lemon juice until combined. Set aside.
- Place cherries in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to bowl with liquid mixture; stir until combined. Pour into a shallow metal pan and place in freezer. Stir with a fork every 10 minutes until mixture is slushy and partially solidified, about 35 minutes. Spoon into serving cups; garnish with whole cherries.
