So easy to make, and so delicious, a great dessert for the holidays, because of the red and green cherries...I usually make two of these when I am making this recipe, and just keep them frozen in the freezer until ready to serve.

- In a large bowl, combine milk and pie filling. Add oranges, pineapple and nuts. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spread in a 13-in. x 9-in. pan. Cover and freeze. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving. Cut into squares; serve on lettuce-lined plates if desired.

- TO MAKE THE CUSTARD: In a bowl, combine half of milk, half of sugar, egg yolks, and cornstarch. Stir well.
- In a pot, simmer the other half of milk, water, other half of sugar, and margarine until bubbles start appearing on the sides of the pot. Pour over bowl of egg yolk mixture then stir.
- Place strainer over the same pot and pour over the combined mixture. Remove strainer and cook custard over low heat until mixture starts to thicken. Turn off heat and continue stirring. Set aside.
- TO MAKE THE FRUIT MIXTURE: In a bowl, combine DEL MONTE Fiesta Fruit Cocktail with other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Set aside in the chiller.
