- Cut chicken breasts into large chunks.
- Place the chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup and the rice in a slow cooker. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 4 hours.

- Mix salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, thyme, white pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper together in a small bowl.
- Rub seasoning mixture over the entire chicken to evenly season. Put rubbed chicken into a large resealable plastic bag; refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.
- Remove chicken from bag and cook in slow cooker on Low until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 4 to 8 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh, near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

SLOW-COOKER SAVORY ROAST CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES
This roast chicken dinner is as classic as it gets. Bone-in, skin-on chicken is slow-cooked with carrots, mushrooms and onions in an herb-infused broth, then topped with crispy bacon as a finishing touch. Serve with mashed potatoes any time you're craving comfort food.

- Spray inside of 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet; drain on paper towels. Cover and refrigerate for later.
- Drain all drippings from skillet except for 1 tablespoon. Add mushrooms and carrots to skillet; cook over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and vegetables are lightly browned. Add garlic; cook 30 to 60 seconds or until fragrant. Transfer mixture to slow cooker; stir in onions. Top with bay leaves and thyme.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook in two batches in skillet over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until brown on all sides. Arrange chicken pieces on top of vegetables in slow cooker.
- In 1-cup measuring cup, beat together chicken broth and tomato paste; pour around chicken in slow cooker. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest pieces are cut to bone (at least 165°F), and vegetables are fork tender. Transfer chicken and vegetables to serving platter, discarding bay leaves. Top with cooked bacon. Spoon fat from cooking juices; serve with chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley; serve with mashed potatoes.

- To prepare chicken:.
- Rinse chicken breasts. Pat dry with paper towels. Trim off any visible fat. Place half of chicken breasts in 3 or 4 quart slow cooker. Sprinke with half of chicken seasoning. Drizzel with 1 tablespoon vinegar. Add remaining chicken breasts. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon vinegar.
- To cook chicken:.
- Cover and cook on high heat setting 2 1/2 hours or until chicken is cooked through. (NOTE: Do NOT overcook, or chicken will be dry.) Remove chicken to platter. Discard liquid in slow cooker. Drizzle remaining 2 tablespoons vinegar over chicken.

- If you have leftovers or prefer to use chicken for a later purpose, let meat cool, then wrap well and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
EASY CROCK POT SAVORY CHICKEN
This is a recipe I just came up with from the ingredients I had in the house. I wanted something easy for a Sunday afternoon that would cook in the crock pot in about 4 hours. You just throw everything in!

- Spray bottom of crock pot with PAM to avoid sticking. Cut chicken breasts into thirds and place in the bottom of crock pot.
- In a separate bowl combine all other ingredients and pour over the top of the chicken.
- Cook on low for approximately 4-5 hours.
- Serve over rice.

GARLIC-ROSEMARY SLOW COOKER WHOLE CHICKEN

- Place potatoes in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add onion over the top of the potatoes.
- Remove the chicken parts inside the cavity and pat the outside of the chicken dry. Slice deep, garlic clove-width slits into your chicken with a knife. Make 4 cuts on each side of the chicken, and 1 in each of the drumsticks. Stick a sliver of garlic deep into each cut. Place the remaining chunks of garlic into the cavity.
- Starting on the back of the chicken, season generously with about 1/2 of the rosemary and cracked salt and pepper. Add some seasoning inside the chicken's cavity as well. Flip the chicken and place it breast side up in the slow cooker on top of the potatoes and onions. Season the top of the chicken generously with the remaining rosemary and more cracked salt and pepper.
- Cook on Low until the chicken is cooked through completely and the juices run clear when the chicken is cut, 8 to 10 hours, depending on the size. Serve with the potatoes and onions from the pot.

- Place chicken in crockpot.
- Sprinkle with soup mix and garlic salt.
- Pour dressing and water over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours.
- Remove chicken and cool slightly.
- Skim fat from cooking juices.
- Remove chicken from bones and cut into bite-size pieces and return to crockpot.
- Serve with a slotted spoon on buns.
- I have also used boneless chicken pieces and cut them up before placing in the crockpot. You just need to adjust cooking time if doing it this way.
