For that "little something" sweet after a filling fall meal, try this scrumptious, cinnamon-sprinkled dessert from our Test Kitchen. It couldn't be much easier.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened sliced pineapple, drained and patted dry
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • In an ungreased 9-in. square baking pan, overlap pineapple in two stacks of two slices each. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over pineapple. , Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until sugar is melted. Top with marshmallows; broil 1 to 1-1/2 minutes longer or until marshmallows are golden brown.

Living in Hawaii we have lots of pineapples. This one is easy & quick it's funny. makes an easy snack also.

1 - fresh pineapple, cored& peeled
3 tablespoon(s) raspberry vinaigrette
2 cup(s) cottage cheese
1/2 cup(s) pomegranate seeds or another kind

Steps:

  • Preheat the boiler. Cut the pineapple crosswise into 8 slices. Place on rack of brolier or a 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Brush lightly with the dressing.
  • Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 4 to 5 mins or until heated.
  • Place pineapples to serving plate. Top evenly with the cottage cheese. Sprinkle with the seed if you like.
  • Special Tips: You may substitute the seeds with fresh raspberries.

8 slices of pinapple
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c packed brown sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Place slices in a single layer in a jelly roll pan
  • 2. Melt butter, stir in the cinnamon and drizzle over the rings.
  • 3. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the rings. Broil for two minutes. It is great served with ice cream!
  • 4. You can grill this recipe also.
