DRY RANCH DRESSING MIX

Steps:

• Put crackers through blender on high speed until powdered.
• Add parsley, minced onions, and dill weed.
• Blend again until powdered.
• Dump into bowl.
• Stir in onion salt, garlic salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
• Put into container with tight-fitting lid.

DRY RANCH MIX

Steps:

• Combine the parsley, garlic salt, crushed saltines, minced onion, onion salt, onion powder, garlic powder, dill weed, and black pepper in a sealable container; shake.

DRY BUTTERMILK RANCH MIX

Steps:

• Mix the buttermilk powder, dried onion, parsley, chives, salt, garlic powder, dried celery flakes, white pepper, paprika, and dill together, and store in a cool, dry place. For a finer texture, place ingredients in a blender and pulse several times.

RANCH DRESSING AND SEASONING MIX

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in a blender.
• Blend at high speed until smooth.
• If you want to use this to make salad dressing combine 1 tablespoon mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup milk.
• Otherwise use 1 tablespoon in any recipe calling for an envelope of ranch dressing mix.

HOMEMADE RANCH SEASONING MIX

Steps:

• In a medium bowl, whisk all ingredients to combine. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.Notes:1. When you purchase buttermilk powder at the store, it is found on the shelf, often in the baking section or near the powdered milk. 2. Storage: the brand of buttermilk powder I use (Saco) recommends refrigerating the powder once opened. In my experience, the powder stores for at least 2 months in the refrigerator, as long as you keep it in powder form. If you mix the powder with sour cream or other liquid products, use within 5 days.

BUTTERMILK RANCH DRESSING MIX RECIPE {COPYCAT HIDDEN VALLEY}

Steps:

• Add all ingredients to small mixing bowl and whisk together until thoroughly combined.
• Use immediately, or transfer mixture to a mason jar to store in your pantry for later.
• To make Ranch Dressing, combine 3 Tbsp of Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix, 1 cup of Milk and 1 cup Mayonnaise. Stir thoroughly and Refrigerate. {makes approx. 16 oz. Dressing}

HOMEMADE BUTTERMILK RANCH DRESSING MIX

Steps:

• Put the buttermilk, 1 ½ tablespoons of the parsley flakes, granulated garlic and onion, onion flakes, dill weed, chives, salt, and pepper in the carafe of a blender. Pulse about 8 to 10 times, or until the onion flakes, parsley, and chives are broken down very small and almost powdered like commercially available ranch dressing mix. Stir in the remaining parsley flakes and transfer to a jar with a tight fitting lid. Store the mix in a tightly lidded container at cool room temperature in a dark place for up to 6 months. You may need to break up clumps from time to time. Shake the closed container to do so, or use a fork to break apart especially tenacious clumps.
• Whisk together all of the dressing ingredients until smooth and refrigerate for 30 minutes prior to serving. Use this dressing within 1 week of being made.

HOMEMADE RANCH SEASONING (DRESSING MIX)

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place in an airtight container and store up to 6 months.

BUTTERMILK RANCH STYLE DRESSING DRY MIX

Steps:

• In a blender puree crackers to a fine powder. Add the parsley, onion and dill. Pulse to almost dust. Pour into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
• Store for up to 1 year in an airtight container.
• To use:
• Add 1 1/2 Tablespoons to 1 cup mayo and 1 cup buttermilk. Mix well and serve.
