The perfect drink for a hot summers day! Refreshing and healthy! I got this from Baby Center, a pregnancy site. This is a Cuban and a Northeastern recipe.

Ingredients

1 ounce fresh lime juice
3 ounces frozen sliced strawberries in syrup (or fresh)
1 -3 teaspoon sugar (or to taste)
cracked ice

Steps:

Fill a blender with cracked ice. Add lime juice, strawberries, and sugar. Blend until smooth. You may add a little water if too thick. Pour into a chilled glass.
Garnish with an extra strawberry or an orange slice. Enjoy!

This a delicious daiquiri recipe that my mom makes. It also makes a fabulous virgin drink when you leave out the rum!

Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries
0.25 (14 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
0.25 (14 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
3 -4 cups ice
8 shots white rum

Steps:

Cut off tops of strawberries.
Combine ingredients in blender. The blender should be about half strawberries and half ice with the concentrates filling in the gaps.
Add rum to taste.
Blend!

1 ounce fresh lime juice
3 ounces fresh strawberries, red and ripe (can use frozen if berries are out of season)
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Splenda sugar substitute or 1 teaspoon sugar
cracked ice, to your preference

Steps:

Add lime juice, strawberries, vanilla and sugar to a blender.
Blend until smooth then add the ice and blend again until smooth.
Pour into a chilled cocktail glass and serve at once.

Rinse, hull, and slice the strawberries until you have 1 cup (136g). Squeeze the fresh lime juice and slice a fresh lime for the garnish.
Place the fresh strawberries, simple syrup, lime juice, and rum extract in a blender and blend until very smooth, then gradually blend in the frozen strawberries until no chunks remain.
Pour the daiquiri into hurricane glasses and garnish the rims with fresh lime and strawberry slices. Serve immediately.
