Dole Pineapple Whip Food
HOMEMADE DOLE WHIP
Steps:
- In a high-powered blender, combine the pineapple juice, vanilla ice cream, frozen pineapple, lime juice and salt. Blend on medium-high speed, stopping to push the pineapple chunks down into the blender as needed.
- Transfer to a bowl; cover and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Scoop and serve. Alternatively, transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe into small serving bowls. (This method will make it look like it came out of a soft serve machine.)
DOLE PINEAPPLE WHIP
My family loves pineapple. I found this on the web while looking for recipes from Disneyworld/Disneyland. This is one of the recipes I came across. It's different from the ones posted here, as it makes quite a bit more.

Steps:
- Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside.
- Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender or food processor container; cover and blend until smooth.
- Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags and store bags flat in freezer.
- Freeze 1-1/2 hours or until slushy.
- Stir pineapple slush gently into whipped cream until slightly blended, in large bowl.
- Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour and serve.

DOLE WHIP (DISNEY COPYCAT)
The iconic Disney Pineapple Dole Whip can easily be made at home with only a few simple ingredients! This frosty treat is perfect on a hot summer day!

Steps:
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender (in the order listed); blend until smooth and ultra creamy, pushing down the pineapple chunks if necessary, about 3 minutes.
- At this point you can pour into dessert cups. But I like to freeze the mixture for 30-40 minutes, then transfer to a piping bag with a 1M "star" tip (to get that iconic Dole Whip swirl.)
- Swirl into glasses.
- (To help the soft-serve hold its shape even longer, freeze the swirled whip another 20 minutes.)

- Drain the pineapple but reserve 2 Tablespoons of the juice. Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, and reserved 2 Tablespoons of juice in the blender and blend until smooth. Make sure that there aren't any chunks left.
- Pour into two gallon sized bags and lay flat in the freezer and freeze about 1 -1 1/2 hours until slushy.
- Whip the whip cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer until it forms soft peaks. Transfer into a large bowl and fold the slushy pineapple mixture into the whipped cream. Return to the freezer and freeze until completely frozen about another hour.
