We like bread as much as you do. But we don't miss it at all in these fancy, bistro-style ham and mozzarella lettuce wraps!

2 Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese
2 large leaf lettuce leaves
6 slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Ham
2 tsp. chopped black olives
2 tsp. finely chopped onions
2 Tbsp. KRAFT FREE Shredded Non-Fat Mozzarella Cheese

Steps:

  • Spread reduced-fat cream cheese onto lettuce.
  • Top with remaining ingredients; roll up. Secure with toothpicks, if desired.

18 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
12 ounces ham, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon almonds, finely chopped
1/4 cup green onion, chopped

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients, except ham, and stir until well blended. Spread 1 T. mixture onto each ham slice. Roll up, jellyroll fashion, starting at short end. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze (up to one month).
  • Thaw at room temperature an hour before serving. Cut each roll into 1/4 inch slices before completely thawed. May serve with crackers for an extra crunch taste.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
3 green onions, chopped
11 flour tortillas (8 inches)
22 slices deli ham

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese and salad dressing mix until smooth.
  • Add onions; mix well.
  • Spread about 3 tbs of mixture over each tortilla, top each with two ham slices.
  • Roll up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate until firm.
  • Unwrap and cut into 3/4 inches slices.
  • Put in small platers & decorate with parsley.
  • Cooking time has 1 hour chilling time.

From my Harrowsmith cookbook Vol. 2, submitted by Anne Budge of Belfountain, ON. We assemble these on the vinyl tablecloth in assembly line fashion. One person places the ham, the other sprinkles the cheese and spices. We use more cheese than stated in the recipe because we usually make up a couple of pans of this. Really it is very flexible. Can substitute mushroom sauce in place of tomato sauce.

8 lasagna noodles
8 slices ham, thin slices
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
salt & pepper
2 cups tomato sauce
2 large tomatoes, sliced
parsley sprig

Steps:

  • Cook noodles until tender. Drain, rinse.
  • Lay on sheet of greased foil or any surface that noodles will not stick to.
  • Lay slice of ham on each noodle, trimming to fit.
  • Spread with mustard and sprinkle with cheese and seasonings.
  • Roll up each noodle, enclosing the filling.
  • Place in greased shallow baking dish.
  • Pour sauce over top and arrange tomato slices over this.
  • Bake at 375 Degrees F for 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.
  • I mark the ones with mustard with a toothpick as my DH does not like mustard so we omit it on some of the roll-ups.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (2 1/4 ounce) can chopped ripe olives, , drained
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onion
8 -10 slices fully cooked ham (, thin slices)

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; stir in the olives and onions.
  • Spread over ham slices.
  • Roll up, jelly roll style, starting with a short side.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Just before serving, cut into 1 inch pieces.

1 (10 ounce) package chopped frozen steam in a bag broccoli
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup dry panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 1/2 teaspoons diced pimentos
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1 dash pepper
12 slices cooked ham (1/8 inch thick)

Steps:

  • Cook broccoli in microwave for about 5 1/2 minutes Drain. In a bowl, combine soup, bread crumbs, cheese , onion, pimientos and thyme. Add broccoli, mix well. Spoon 1/4 cup onto each ham slice. Roll up and place in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in.x2 inches baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until heated through.

This recipe makes 42 roll-ups, so no need to double, unless you are serving a really big crowd. Make sure that the cheese and ham are sliced paper-thin, have your deli slice it for you. You'll love these!

42 medium romaine lettuce leaves
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon minced green onion
42 slices muenster cheese (sliced paper thin, have your deli slice it for you)
42 slices honey-roasted ham, sliced paper-thin (have your deli slice it for you)

Steps:

  • Remove ribs from lettuce leaves, and cut any large leaves in half lengthwise if needed.
  • Dissolve mustard in soy sauce and vinegar; mix with sour cream and mayo; add in minced green onions.
  • On each lettuce leaf, place 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of ham.
  • Top the ham with a scant teaspoon of the sour cream mixture.
  • Roll up jellyroll fashion, and place on serving platter, seam-side down.
