Steps:
- A few hours before you plan to make the cocktails, prepare the vodka ice cubes.
- Stir 2 oz of the vodka with the water and dye to your preferred colour with the pink food dye. Pour into the heart shaped ice cubes and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
- It's also helpful to deseed your pomegranate beforehand - my favorite method is cutting the pomegranate in half, holding it over a bowl filled 1/4 of the way with cold water and whacking the back of the pomegranate with a wooden spoon, letting the seeds drop into the water.
- When ready to serve, place your ice cubes and pomegranate seeds in your champagne flutes. Fill each with 2 oz grapefruit juice, then skewer your strawberries and place on top.
- Top with champagne and enjoy immediately.

- Love Potion #9. This aptly-named cocktail is a magical treat for starry-eyed lovers. One sip and you’ll be madly in love with the deliciously creamy blend of berries, vanilla ice cream, vodka, and white crème de cacao liqueur.
- Sparkling Cranberry Sangria. Bubbly and bright, this tart cocktail is just what you need to rev up the romance. It’s bursting with juicy flavor, thanks to a generous helping of fresh fruit and cranberry juice.
- Mint Grapefruit Mimosa. Sweet mint, tangy grapefruit – celebrate your love as a couple with a couple of great flavors. Sparkling Prosecco and a hint of honey round out this deceptively complex cocktail.
- Sweetheart Cocktail. Don’t give your love a bouquet of roses this Valentine’s Day. Serve them one in a cocktail. Made with vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, and rose petals, this is a fun and floral way to impress that special someone.
- Kir Royale. There’s no better way to woo your beloved than with a fizzy, fruity kir royale. This elegant cocktail is made with champagne and French berry liqueur.
- Besame Cocktail. Besame is a Spanish word, meaning “kiss me,” and kisses are highly recommended after this smooth tipple. It’s made with a Spanish favorite – Agavero, a tequila-based liqueur flavored with agave.
- Strawberry Shortcake Daiquiri. If your idea of romance is dessert in a glass, you’ll find your happy-ever-after in this recipe. Made with fresh strawberries, it’s fresh and sweet.
- Scarlett Kiss. Daring and different, this wickedly good cocktail is perfect for parties. It’s made with Drambuie whiskey for a powerful kick and rounded out with tart cranberry juice.
- Mary Pickford. Mary Pickford was a beloved silver screen star who made her fortune in the old Hollywood era of silent movies. Her namesake cocktail is as glamorous as she was.
- Cupid’s Arrow. Cupid is too young to drink, of course, but if he were of legal age he’d definitely be trying this recipe. Filled with berries and sprinkled with chocolate shavings, this is a gorgeous Valentine’s treat.
