These bacon-wrapped wunderkins will be the hit of your next party! So easy, too, as most of the work is done by the oven!

24 baby potatoes (, scrubbed and dried)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon powdered garlic
1/4 teaspoon powdered onion
12 slices thick cut bacon (, sliced in half across the equator to create 24 shorter slices)
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/3 cup ranch dressing
2 teaspoons BBQ sauce
2 teaspoons maple syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Line a rimmed half-sheet pan with foil (one continuous piece is best, to keep the bacon grease from seeping between sheets). If you have an oven-safe wire rack that fits the pan, spray it with non-stick spray and place it in the pan. Using a wire rack will let the bacon grease drain away and help the bacon to crisp up nicely.

Bacon wrapped potatoes are easy potato appetizers that don't take long to prepare, and crowds love them. Best served with a dip of your choice or as a side!

9-10 baby potatoes (1 pound/450 grams), see note 1
¾ teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1.5 tablespoons fajita seasoning
20 bacon slices, see note 2

Steps:

  • Brush the potatoes clean under running water and cut each in quarters (lengthwise). Place them in a small saucepan and pour over just enough water to cover them. Add ¾ teaspoon of salt and cover with a lid. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer covered for about 8 minutes (don't over-cook). Strain the water and transfer the potatoes in a mixing bowl. Place them in the fridge to cool, for about 10 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit (200 Celsius).
  • Pour olive oil over the cooled potatoes and toss. Add fajita seasoning and toss well.
  • Cut all bacon slices in half, crosswise. Wrap each half around a potato wedge and secure with a toothpick. Place onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment (or aluminum foil). Repeat with the rest of the potatoes.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the bacon is cooked through and to your liking.
  • Serve with a dip of your choice!

1/4 cup KRAFT Homestyle Mayo
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Wrap 1 bacon piece around each potato nugget; place on rack of broiler pan.
  • Bake 25 min. or until bacon is crisp, turning after 15 min. Meanwhile, mix mayo and barbecue sauce.
  • Serve nuggets with mayo mixture.
