CHRISTMAS CRISPIX® MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly butter a large roasting pan.
• Mix corn and rice cereal, pecans, and almonds together in the prepared roasting pan.
• Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Heat to 240 degrees F (115 degrees C) or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from the water and placed on a flat surface. Remove saucepan from heat and stir vanilla extract into syrup.
• Drizzle syrup over cereal mixture and toss to coat.
• Bake cereal mixture in the preheated oven for 30 minutes; stir and continue baking for 30 minutes more. Spread cereal mixture in 1 layer onto 2 lightly buttered baking sheets, separating any large chunks with 2 forks; allow to cool.

RANCH SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In a large microwaveable bowl, mix cereal, crackers and pretzels. Set aside.
• In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
• Pour seasoning mixture over cracker mixture, stirring as you pour. Mix well.
• Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Gently stir the mixture. Microwave on high 1 more minute.
• Spread on paper towels to dry and cool. Store in an airtight container (if there are any leftovers!).

CRISPIX MIX ORIGINAL WITH WHITE CHEDDAR CHEEZ-IT CRACKERS

Steps:

• In a large mixing bowl, combine cereal, crackers, pretzels and cashews. Set aside.
• In small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour seasoning mixture over cereal and cracker mixture. Gently stir until evenly coated. Pour mixture onto 11 x 13 -inch baking pan.
• Bake at 250 degrees F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
