CREAMY LEMON GARLIC CHICKEN RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a large ovenproof skillet over high heat.
- Liberally season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper before transferring to the hot skillet.
- Sear the chicken 2-3 minutes per side, just until it develops a golden-brown color.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Allow the pan to cool slightly before heating the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
- Toss in the garlic and sautée until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth, yogurt, lemon juice, and oregano and stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Let the mixture reduce for a few minutes until it has thickened.
- Pour in the spinach and sprinkle over another pinch of salt. Let the greens wilt down, stirring occasionally.
- Place the chicken breasts back into the pan and transfer the pan to the oven.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve chicken on a bed of the wilted spinach and top with a drizzle of the creamy sauce.

CREAMY LEMON GARLIC CHICKEN

- Wash chicken cutlets and thoroughly pat dry with paper towel. Season with salt. Melt the butter in a large oven-proof frying pan (or skillet) on medium heat. Place the chicken cutlets, skin side down, and fry until golden and crisp (place a lid on the frying pan to avoid the fat from the chicken spitting all over the stove). Turn chicken and continue to fry until browned. Take off the heat; transfer chicken onto a plate and drain most of the fat from the pan (leave about 2 tablespoons of the oil for flavour).
- Return the pan to the stove and reduce heat to low. Add the chopped onion, minced and crushed garlic, paprika and lemon pepper (if using) to the oil left in the pan, occasionally stirring until garlic is fragrant and onion is transparent. Season with salt to taste and add in the thyme.
- At this point, preheat your oven to grill/broil setting on medium heat.
- Pour in the stock/broth, cream and lemon juice and bring to a slow simmer. Return the chicken back into the pan; cover with lid and allow to simmer gently in the sauce for a further 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Place the pan into the oven and allow the skin to crisp up (it takes about 5 minutes).
- Serve with lemon wedges or slices and fresh sprigs of Thyme.
CREAMY GARLIC-LEMON CHICKEN

- In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Place chicken in a 5-qt. slow cooker; pour broth mixture over chicken. Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until chicken is tender., Remove chicken from slow cooker; keep warm. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually whisk in cooking juices. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cream. CREAMY LEMON CHICKEN
Steps:
- 1. Between pieces of plastic wrap or waxed paper, place each chicken breast smooth side down; gently pound with flat side of meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/2 inch thick. In small shallow dish, mix flour with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper; dip each chicken breast into flour mixture, coating all sides.
- 2. In 10-inch skillet, heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts in oil 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, or until brown. In small bowl, mix cooking sauce and lemon juice.
- 3. Pour sauce mixture over chicken. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (at least 165 degrees F). Sprinkle with parsley and lemon peel. Serve with rice.
CREAMY LEMON CHICKEN

- Place the flour in a shallow bowl and season with salt and pepper. Heat a large saute pan over medium-high heat, then add the oil. Dredge the chicken in the flour, shaking off any excess, and place in the hot oil. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken to a plate.
- Add the garlic to the pan, carefully add the wine and, using a wooden spoon, scrape the bottom of the pan to release any flavor stuck to the bottom. Add the cream, Parmesan, lemon zest and juice and some salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce starts to thicken, about 2 minutes. Add the spinach, stir and return the chicken to the pan. Cook for 1 minute more, until the spinach has wilted. Garnish with basil and lemon slices.
GARLIC AND LEMON CHICKEN
This is a recipe I made up once when I was experimenting in the kitchen. I had no idea how it would turn out. I just put some flavours together that I felt would work. Thankfully it turned out beautifully and it is a family favourite.

- Pre-heat the oven at 200 DC. Put a pot of cold water on the stove and place the new potatoes into the pot with a sprinkle of salt. Cook the new potatoes for 10 minutes. Now put the potatoes into a small roasting tin and sprinkle over some salt and pepper. Add 50g of the butter to the potatoes. Do not cover the potatoes with a lid or foil, leave the tin open so the potatoes can get crispy. Put the potatoes a side and begin to prepare the chicken.
- Rub each chicken piece in the oil and then place the chicken and remaining oil into a large roasting tin. Add the lemon juice to the roasting tin. Now sprinkle the salt, pepper, and paprika evenly over the chicken. Add the lemon wedges and garlic into the roasting tin spread these in between the chicken pieces.
- Once you have added the garlic and lemon you can add the other 50g of butter spread the butter cubes / pieces around the tin and in between the chicken pieces. Either put a lid onto the roasting tin or cover the top with tin foil. Place both the chicken roasting tin and the potato roasting tin into the oven; cook both the chicken and the potatoes for 1 hour to 1h 30 mins depending on your oven.
- It is important to not cook the chicken and potatoes in the same roasting tin otherwise everything will taste of lemon, garlic and paprika. By cooking the potatoes in a separate roasting tin, it helps to break down the flavours. 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time for the chicken, remove the tin foil and place the chicken back into the oven.
- This dish goes very well with a glass of white wine and a bit of crispy garden salad on the side though this is optional.
LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WITH CREAMY GARLIC-LEMON SAUCE
This is one of our favorite recipes for chicken thighs. It comes together easily and tastes wonderful! The sauce is delicious on pasta. The chicken comes out nice and crispy. It's a great recipe to serve company, too!

- Chicken Thighs:.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In zip-top bag, place 2 teaspoons of lemon pepper seasoning with flour and shake to mix thoroughly. Briefly shake thighs, 2 or 3 at a time, till coated.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil on medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add chicken thighs skin side down and cook for about 4 minutes until browned. Flip the chicken thighs over and cook for 2 minutes on the other side. Remove from heat. Put chicken thighs skin side up (crispy side up) on a baking sheet and bake at 375 F for about 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked, the juices run clear and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- Creamy Sauce:.
- In the mean time, while the chicken is baking, make the sauce: Wipe the skillet you used for cooking the chicken thighs. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil and 1/2 tablespoon butter to skillet. Add minced garlic and cook, constantly stirring, for about 30 seconds. Add chicken stock and 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning to the skillet and bring to light boil. Add heavy cream and bring back to boil. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted. Reduce heat to simmer and keep stirring until the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat. Add 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir inches Top the sauce with chopped green onions (chop up only green portion of green onions and don't use white portion). Keep the sauce covered.
- The chicken should be cooked by now. Check it for doneness and if chicken is completely cooked through, add it to the skillet on top of the sauce and on top of green onions. Top with chopped parsley and decorate with a few slices of lemon.

- Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water for 20-25 mins until tender when pierced with a knife. Meanwhile, heat the 2 tbsp Flora Buttery in a frying pan over a medium heat until melted, then fry the onion for 10 mins until softened. Stir in the garlic, fry for a minute more, then add the chicken and fry for 5 mins until lightly golden.
- Pour in the wine, bring to a simmer and reduce until halved. Stir in 250ml of the crème fraîche. Cook for 5 mins until the chicken is cooked through, and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Drain the potatoes, leave to steam dry for 1 min, then mash with the 50g Flora Buttery, remaining crème fraîche and some seasoning, until smooth. Stir the herbs and spinach through the chicken and cook for a minute or so until the spinach wilts. Add the lemon juice and some seasoning. Serve spooned over the creamy mash.

- Season flour with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken tenders in flour mixture until coated.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
- Reduce heat to medium and add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add garlic and saute until fragrant, about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour wine into the pan and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Add chicken stock and cook until sauce has reduced, about 10 minutes. Add half-and-half, Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice; let reduce for 10 more minutes.
- Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to the pan. Add chicken and allow to heat through, about 10 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
