SLOW COOKER CREAMY CHICKEN PASTA
Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Pasta is an easy, dump and go recipe that is similar to penne alla vodka with the ease of a slow cooker!

- Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Place them in an even layer in the bottom of a 6 or 7 quart slow cooker, then pour in marinara sauce. Fill the empty marinara sauce jar with water, close the lid, and give it a shake. Pour the water into the slow cooker.
- Add the lid, and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours. After that time, remove the chicken and either shred it or cut it into cubes. Return the chicken to the slow cooker along with the pasta noodles and heavy cream. Press the noodles down to ensure they are submerged in the liquid.
- Close the lid, adjust the setting to low heat, and cook for an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on how firm you like the noodles cooked. Stir occasionally to make sure the noodles are evenly cooked.
- Serve hot with a side salad and garlic bread. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

CREAMY CROCKPOT CHICKEN AND PASTA

Steps:
- Spray the interior of the crockpot with non-stick spray.
- Cut the chicken into 1" cubes.
- Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the dry Italian dressing mix over the chicken.
- Pour both cans of soup into the crockpot.
- Cut the cream cheese into 4 pieces and place them in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- **If you are home, stir the mixture at about 2 hours into the cooking time to incorporate the cream cheese**
- /2 hours into the cook time, cook the pasta following the directions on the box.
- Drain the pasta.
- Fold the pasta into the mixture in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle Italian blend cheese on top of the contents in the crockpot.
- Place the lid back on and cook for 10 minutes, until cheese melts.
- Serve with garlic bread and a salad.

- Stir in chicken. Cover; cook on High heat setting 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through (at least 165°F). Stir in pasta and tomatoes. Cover; cook on High heat setting 25 to 30 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring twice.
- Stir in cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until cheeses melt. Stir in spinach until wilted. Let stand covered 5 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir before serving.

- Place chicken in crock pot.
- Cut cream cheese into cubes and distribute evenly over chicken.
- In separate bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 can water, and Italian dressing mix until smooth.

- Spray slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to skillet, and sear chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown; arrange in single layer in bottom of slow cooker.
- Add garlic to same skillet, and cook until just golden in a few spots; carefully add wine to skillet, and scrape up any browned bits from bottom. Heat to simmering; simmer 1 minute. Pour into slow cooker. Add broth to slow cooker, stirring gently to combine. Add thyme sprigs. Cover; cook on High heat setting 4 to 6 hours.
- Twenty minutes before serving, with slow cooker still set to High, beat cornstarch and water with whisk to make a slurry; stir the slurry, Parmesan cheese and whipping cream into liquid in slow cooker (if necessary, remove chicken from slow cooker for this step, and add back once mixed).
- Cover; cook 20 minutes longer to thicken. Serve with parsley and, if desired, additional Parmesan. Serve over pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.

- Place chicken in a slow cooker on High power. Add broth and water to cover. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook until chicken is no longer pink inside, about 3 hours.
