CONEY ISLAND SAUCE

Coney Island Sauce image

Posted per request. My family loves this sauce on hot dogs. It's very simple to make, and you can make the sauce hotter by adding extra chili powder or by adding crushed or liquid red pepper to the mixture. Also freezes well.

One thing that everyone will agree on, though, is something that sets a coney island hot dog apart from a chili dog – the sauce is an all meat sauce. No beans.
