You won't believe how simple it is to make your own McDonald's Mocha Frappe at home. The easiest copycat recipe that is perfect all-year that, dare I say, tastes better than the original!

- Pour your brewed, and slightly cooled coffee into an ice mold.
- Freeze solid, roughly 3 to 4 hours.
- Place the frozen coffee cubes, sugar, milk, and chocolate syrup in a blender.
- Blend at a medium/high speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour into a glass and top off with whipped cream.
COLD BREW MOCHA FRAPPE
This 3-ingredient mocha frappe is made with cold brew coffee, milk ice cubes, and a dash of chocolate syrup. In other words, creamy, bold, and delicious.

- To prepare cold brew, place 2 cups ground coffee - the bolder the better - into a bowl, top it with 4 cups of water and place it in the refrigerator overnight. Strain in the morning and reserve the leftover in the fridge.
- Prepare milk ice cubes in advance by pouring your milk of choice in an ice cube tray, covering lightly with saran wrap, and freezing over night. Choose non-dairy milk to make this vegan friendly. I went with 2% for an extra creamy texture.
- In the morning, place 1 cup coffee, 8 milk ice cubes and as much chocolate sauce as desired in a blender and blend until smooth (amounts as original recipe is written // adjust if altering batch size). Serve immediately.

SIMPLE MOCHA FRAPPE
I worked as a barista for 2 years and I tend to be very picky when it comes to specialty coffee drinks. Living in an area where there is a coffee stand on every corner I have tasted so many different versions on each drink so I know that though everyone will use the same ingredients for the most part, quantities and quality matter! This is my simple yet satisfying Mocha Frappe. Although I am sure many might think to substitute for the ingredients to suit their tastes/diet or to use what they have on hand, I hope you will reconsider and use store bought chocolate milk if you can because it is thick and creamy which will make a difference. For variations to this recipe you could add a bit of coconut extract or other flavors, or even flavor syrups. And top with whip cream to make it extra delicious! If you don't have the chocolate milk it is ok to substitute with half and half (can be fat free) and some chocolate syrup as I have found that still gives it enough thickness.

- Note: To make frozen coffee cubes, brew a strong cup of coffee (I use instant since nobody else drinks it) and add sugar or splenda to taste. Then freeze in ice cube tray.
- Blend coffee cubes and milk in blender until large chunks are gone.
- Add ice cream and blend til combined and still fairly thick.
- Enjoy!
MOCHA FRAPPE'
I made this recipe before McDonalds had Frappes, and before I knew what one was. I wanted to make a shake inspired from a Snickers Icecap thats made in a local expresso shop. I took a few ideas from several mocha shakes, frozen lattes, and iced coffee recipes and combined some of the ideas to make my own version of this simple frozen coffee treat! Note: cooking time is time to freeze coffee.

- Freeze the coffee into cubes(for 3+ hours).
- Pulse milk, chocolate syrup, sugar, and 3 of the ice cubes in a blender.
- Add 2-3 coffee cubes and remaining ice cubes and pulse again until fairly smooth.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle if desired.
