CINNAMON TOAST COCKTAIL | A CINNAMON SCHNAPPS COCKTAIL
A Cinnamon Toast is the ultimate fall cocktail that will warm you up on even the chilliest of evenings. It's the perfect blend of Cinnamon Schnapps (a Cinnamon Liquor) and apple cider garnished with an apple slice and cinnamon sticks!

Steps:
- In a shaker or individual glass, combine cider and cinnamon schnapps.
- Stir or shake.
- Rim your glass with simple syrup and cinnamon sugar by filling one plate with simple syrup and another with ground cinnamon sugar. Lightly dip the glass in simple syrup, followed by cinnamon sugar.
- Add apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish.

Steps:
- In a quart jar, add spices, 1 cup sugar, and vodka.
- Seal jar tightly, and place in a dry, dark place for about 2 weeks.
- After two weeks, strain the liquid using a double layer of cheese cloth.
- In a fresh quart jar, add the second cup of sugar, glycerin, water to top and the strained liquid. Seal and store again in a dark place until sugar is dissolved.
- Once the sugar has all dissolved, bottle the resulting liqueur in a fresh bottle and let age for roughly 3 months.

- 1. Liqueur Steep all spices in alcohol for 3 weeks. Strain and filter until clear and add sugar syrup to taste. Let stand 1 week and its ready to serve. Makes 2 pints
- 2. Simple syrup recipe Bring sugar and water to simmer in small saucepan over medium heat and cook until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Transfer syrup to airtight container and refrigerate until needed.
- 3. you might want to add some red food coloring after you get the flavor right and then package it in pretty bottles.
- 4. Option #2 Cinnamon Liqueur for each cup vodka add a cinnamon stick and allow to sit 3 weeks. Then strain and add the simple syrup and allow to sit another week and serve.
