1 large apple, peeled and chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
2 tablespoons apple jelly
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon baking chips
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1 teaspoon 2% milk
ICING:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 to 2 tablespoons 2% milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Toss apple with lemon juice., On a large sheet of parchment, roll crust into a 14-in. circle; transfer to a baking sheet. Spread jelly onto crust to within 2 in. of edge. Sprinkle with apple, sugar, baking chips and almonds. Fold up edge of crust over filling, leaving opening in center. Brush folded crust with milk., Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool., Mix icing ingredients, using enough milk to reach desired consistency. Drizzle over tart.

2 cans (17.5 oz. each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing, divided
3 Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Separate Cinnamon Rolls. Place 6 rolls in single layer on bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray; press to flatten and completely cover bottom and side of pie plate. Reserve remaining cinnamon rolls and Icing for later use. Bake crust 10 min.; cool slightly.
  • Toss apples with dry pudding mix and cinnamon; spoon into cinnamon roll crust.
  • Press remaining cinnamon rolls into 5-inch rounds. Place around outer rim of pie plate, leaving opening in center to allow steam to escape. Press edges of rolls together to cover filling and to seal to edge of bottom crust as shown in photo.
  • Bake 40 to 45 min. or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Cool slightly.
  • Drizzle with reserved icing as desired before serving.

1 tablespoon flour
1/2 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unfold 1 refrigerated pie crust onto a lightly floured surface. Cut 12, 2 1/2 inch circles from the pie crust, re-rolling the dough if necessary. Press each into a cup of a mini muffin pan.
  • For the filling, whisk cream cheese until smooth. Whisk in sugar until fluffy. Add egg; blend well. Stir in flour, cinnamon, and vanilla until combined. Stir apples into cream cheese mixture.
  • Spoon apple filling into 12 crusts.
  • For topping, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until it forms a coarse crumb. Spoon topping evenly over each tart.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing.

All-purpose flour, for dusting
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/8 teaspoons ground cinnamon
5 assorted apples, such as McIntosh, Granny Smith and Pink Lady (about 2 pounds)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk, plus more if needed

Steps:

  • Place a baking sheet in the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F. Line a 9-inch pie plate with 1 piece of dough; refrigerate until ready to assemble.
  • Make the cinnamon-roll crust: Lay the remaining piece of dough on a lightly floured surface and spread the butter evenly on top. Combine 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl; sprinkle evenly over the butter, then gently press with your fingers to help the mixture adhere. Roll the pie dough into a tight log. Trim and discard about 1 1/2 inches from both ends; cut the remaining log crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick pieces.   • On a floured work surface, roll dough to a 6-by-14-inch rectangle. Dot upper two-thirds of dough with butter and fold dough in thirds, like a letter, starting with the unbuttered portion. Roll dough to a 6-by-14-inch rectangle; refrigerate on a baking sheet until firm, 1 hour (or up to 1 day). Cut dough crosswise into 4 equal rectangles. Place dough on sheet lined with parchment.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, gently toss together lemon juice, flour, brown sugar, salt, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, and apples. Leaving a 1/2-inch border, arrange apples over dough, overlapping slightly.
  • In a small bowl, combine egg yolk with 1 teaspoon water. In another small bowl, combine granulated sugar and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon. Brush edges of dough with egg wash and sprinkle them with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake until crust is golden brown and apples are soft, 30 to 35 minutes. 1-1/4 cups cold lard
6 to 8 tablespoons cold 2% milk
FILLING:

9 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (about 9 medium)
1 tablespoon bourbon, optional
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Dash salt
3 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
TOPPING:

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix flour and salt; cut in lard until crumbly. Gradually add milk, tossing with a fork until dough holds together when pressed. Divide dough in half. Shape each into a disk; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight., For filling, in a large bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon and ginger. Add apples and toss to coat. Cover; let stand 1 hour to allow apples to release juices, stirring occasionally., Drain apples, reserving syrup. Place syrup and, if desired, bourbon in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 20-25 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly and turns a medium amber color. Remove from heat; cool completely., Preheat oven to 400°. Toss drained apples with flour and salt. On a lightly floured surface, roll one half of dough to a 1/8-in.-thick circle; transfer to a 10-in. cast-iron or other deep ovenproof skillet. Trim pastry even with rim. Add apple mixture. Pour cooled syrup over top; dot with butter., Roll remaining dough to a 1/8-in.-thick circle. Place over filling. Trim, seal and flute edge. Cut slits in top. Brush milk over pastry; sprinkle with coarse sugar. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes., Reduce oven setting to 350°. Bake 45-55 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on a wire rack.

1,2 kg golden apples
200g caster sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
300g white flour
1 tsp dry yeast
1 tsp caster sugar
150g butter
2 tsp water
2 eggs

Steps:

  • Peel the apples and chop them on the scraper. Mix them with the caster sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Put the mix in a pot on the fire until it get's thick.
  • For the base mix together the flour, sugar, dry yeast, butter, eggs and water to obtain a dough. Let the dought sleep for 10 min. and then make a leaf about 1cm thickness.
  • Put the leaf in a tart griddle/tin. Put the padding over the dough and sprinkle sugar over the top.
  • Heat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6 and bake the pie for 35-40 min (until the dough is ready on the bottom).

2 cans of Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls with Frosting
1 can of Apple Pie Filling - 21 ounce, roughly chopped
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Spray a muffin tin with the Cooking Spray, and place a Cinnamon roll in each muffin space
  • Press the roll up the sides and down in the bottom of the muffin tin, to form a little cup/crust.
  • Make sure to press the roll evenly up the sides.
  • Fill the little cups with the chopped Apple Pie Filling, and bake at 375 degrees for 14 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven to a wire rack to cool for 5 minutes, and then gently remove cups from muffin tin, and all to finish cooling.
  • Place the Icing from both cans of Cinnamon rolls in a small pastry bag, and when Apple Pie Cups are completely cooled, pipe the icing on top of each one. Serve, and Enjoy!

2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch salt
1 sheet ready rolled pie dough
All-purpose flour, for dusting
Cooking spray
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons peach preserves, warmed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Toss the apples, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and salt together in a large bowl.
  • Roll the pastry, on a lightly floured surface, into a 12-inch round. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the pastry on the baking sheet. Put the apple mixture in the center of the pastry and spread evenly to the edges, but leaving enough dough to fold over to create a crust on the rim. Brush the crust with melted butter and drizzle the remaining butter over the apples.
  • Bake until the crust is golden brown, about 40 minutes.
  • While tart is cooking, put the peach preserves into a microwavable bowl and microwave until syrupy, about 20 seconds.
  • Remove the tart from oven and brush with the warmed preserves. Pull the parchment paper off the sheet tray and transfer the tart to a wire rack to cool. Cut as desired and serve.

  • Arrange pie on heated baking sheet and bake 10 minutes. Decrease oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake 1 hour or until juices are bubbling. Cover with foil if top gets too brown. Cool on wire rack.
