Creamy Jalapeño Dip is an all-natural copycat recipe of the popular dip from Chuy's, made with just a handful of real ingredients including fresh jalapeños, cilantro, and salsa verde!

Ingredients

2 fresh jalapeños (*see Notes below)
1/3 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 cup good-quality mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup salsa verde (tomatillo salsa)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Steps:

In a blender or food processor, pulse the jalapeños until finely minced. Add the cilantro and pulse until chopped.
Add the remainder of the ingredients and blend/process until mixture is smooth and completely puréed. Adjust seasonings to taste, adding more salt and pepper if necessary.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4, but ideally 8 or more, hours. Serve with tortilla chips.

1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup buttermilk (or more, to desired consistency)
1/3 cup chopped jalapeno
1/3 cup green chili
1/3 cup cilantro leaf
1 (1 ounce) packet dry ranch dressing mix

Steps:

Mix ingredients in blender or food processor, until smooth.
Serve with tortilla chips, or as a salad dressing.

This recipe supposedly comes from a former Chuy's employee. When I first got the recipe, the ingredient quanities were huge! Plus it's very different from the other copycat recipes out there. All this (plus the great taste) lead me to believe it's the real McCoy.

1 quart mayonnaise
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped jalapeno
1 cup green tomatillo sauce
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
3 (1 ounce) packets dry ranch dressing mix

Steps:

Mix first 5 ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Stir in ranch mix with a whisk.
Chill and serve.

I absolutely LOVE chuy's creamy jalepeno... but the closest chuys is so far making it no so close! So My mom and I made up are own which is super yummy, very fast & easy to prepare!

1 (8 ounce) packet hidden valley ranch dressing mix (I use buttermilk recipe)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup mayonnaise
1 jalapeno
1/2 cup cilantro leaf (no stems)

Steps:

Add all ingredients into the blender & blend on high for 1 mintue.
Taste to see if its spicy enough, if not add another half of the jalepeno.
Chill in the fridge or just enjoy right after you blend!
