3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 ¾ cups frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed
2 tablespoons strawberry extract
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
1 ½ cups canola oil
¼ cup frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed, with syrup
½ cup sugar
¼ cup water
1 tablespoon strawberry extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 5x9 inch loaf pans.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, beat together the 1 3/4 cups strawberries, 2 tablespoons strawberry extract, eggs, sugar, and oil. Gradually beat the flour mixture into the strawberry mixture. Transfer to the prepared loaf pans.
  • Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a loaf comes out clean. Cool on wire racks.
  • In a saucepan, mix the 1/4 cup strawberries with syrup, sugar, water, and 1 tablespoon strawberry extract. Bring to a boil, and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Pour over the bread while still warm.

2 (6 ounce) packages strawberry flavored Jell-O®
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups flaked coconut
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup red decorator sugar
¼ cup green decorator sugar
2 ounces slivered almonds

Steps:

  • Blend together the gelatin and condensed milk. Add coconut and vanilla; mix well and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Roll into small balls and shape into strawberries; roll in red sugar crystals.
  • Dip fat end into green sugar crystals. Place an almond sliver into the fat end for a stem. To prevent hardening, store in an air tight container until ready to serve.

2 cups Granulated Sugar
3 cups + 2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour, separated
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 ¼ cups Vegetable Oil
4 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 cups Fresh Strawberries, diced, drained, tossed in Flour

Steps:

  • Lightly grease two loaf pans. Approx. 8-1/2 x 4-1/2
  • Remove tops from berries, rinse well. Set aside.
  • Sift the flour.
  • Measure level cups of flour, place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the sugar.
  • Add the salt.
  • Add the baking soda.
  • Whisk together to combine.
  • Place the oil in a medium sized mixing bowl.
  • Add the eggs.
  • Add the vanilla extract.
  • Whisk together until combined.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently to combine.
  • Dice the strawberries, toss with 2 Tablespoons of reserved flour.
  • Fold the berries into the batter.
  • Spoon the batter, divided evenly, into the loaf pans.
  • Bake in 350F degree oven for 60-70 minutes, or until done. Test with toothpick.
  • Remove baked bread from the oven. Place pans on wire rack. Cool for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, run a thin knife around inside edges of pan. Turn bread out on wire racks.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.
  • Enjoy!

1 pint strawberries, rinsed, hulled, quartered, and mashed with a fork
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8-by-4-inch loaf pan. In a small saucepan, bring strawberries to a boil over medium heat. Cook, stirring, 1 minute. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt; set aside. With an electric mixer, cream butter, sugar, and eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture alternately with 1/3 cup water, beginning and ending with flour. Fold in reserved strawberries.

My cake decorating instructer brought these in for our Christmas Pary. They look like frosted strawberries. She said she had the recipe for years. You could make them in orange,lemon or any fruit flaver or shape. she added green royal icing leaves to the top of the strawberries. ( I couldn't post the green icing leaves in the ingredients, it wasn't the proper terminology). They were very good and looked so cute on her platter.

  • Mix together, reserving 2 tablespoons of the strawberry jello powder.
  • Chill the mixture.

  • With the green icing, make a"hull" at the tip of the strawberries.
