- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Mix all ingredients except for chicken in a large bowl. Place some of the mixture in a plastic bag. Add chicken pieces one at a time and shake.
- On a large foil-lined baking sheet place pieces of chicken.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Turn and bake 15 more minutes or until done.
- Store remaining mixture in fridge for next time.
- Coating can also be used on fish or pork.
CHICKEN COATING
I like this recipe much better than the store-bought coating mixes. You can double or triple the recipe if you wish, and store the unused amount in a sealed container. The cook time is for baking the chicken.

Steps:
- Measure all ingredients into bowl.
- Stir thoroughly.
- To use, moisten chicken parts with water and dip in coating.
- Or place coating in plastic bag, and shake to coat.
- Arrange chicken on ungreased baking tray.
- Bake 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until tender and juices run clear.
- Makes enough to coat about 3 1/2 pounds.
CHRISTIE'S CHEESY CHICKEN
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place chicken in casserole dish or pan. Pour cream of chicken soup over chicken. Place American cheese over soup. Slice cheddar cheese and place over American cheese and soup.
- Bake for 2 hours or until tender.

Steps:
- Marinate chicken in wine, salt, pepper and garlic overnight.
- Fry chicken in frying pan until cooked.
- Pat off excess grease and place breasts on a cookie sheet.
- Place two slices of bacon on each breast and then top with two slices of cheese on each.
- Place finished breasts in oven at 350 until cheese melts.
- YUMM!
BASIC COATING MIX (FOR CHICKEN,FISH & PORK)
From the bottom of a box of "Christie" crackers....A good basic cracker-coating mix that can be used in "Crispy Barbecued Style Chicken" (that has been posted)....The amount of crackers called for in this recipe is about 2 stacks or 2 single packages.

This is a great chicken coating mix, it taste almost the same as Shake and Bake! When I made this I use seasoned salt but that is optional. For a kick, add in some cayenne pepper! If desired you reduce the salt slightly
