CHOCOLATE SPRINKLE MILK
A great idea to get the kids to drink their milk. So easy and so pretty. A great idea for children's parties. Make sure you only coat the edge/rim of the glass with the sprinkles. I use hundreds and thousands but couldn't list these under ingredients as they were not recognised as an ingredient.

HOT CHOCOLATE MADE WITH MILK
The old favorite with a new twist. Nothing chases the chills away on a cold, wintery day and warms you up like a steaming mug of real hot chocolate made with milk. And with ready-made chocolate milk from your grocer's dairy case, it's easy to give yourself a hot chocolate winter warm-up in no time! I found this recipe at the Bath fair. I have not tried these recipes, but I'm posting them for safe keeping.

Steps:
- First, make your old favorite. Just pour ready-made chocolate milk into an 8oz mug, microwave on high for 1-1/2 minutes and stir briskly. If you don't have a microwave, simply cook the chocolate milk over low heat, stirring frequently, until it becomes hot-but don't let it boil. Next, add a new twist. Now you're ready to try any of these mouth-watering recipes.
- Rainbow: Top with real dairy whipped cream. Drizzle with chocolate syrup, add colorful sprinkles, and a cherry.
- Mocha: Add 3/4 teaspoon instant coffee to your hot chocolate, and stir to dissolve. Top with two tablespoons real dairy whipped cream, and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg.
- Holiday: Add 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract. Top hot chocolate with marshmallows and stir with a candy cane.
- Just For Grown-Ups: Stir in a tablespoon of rum, brandy, or your favorite cordial. Top with real dairy whipped cream, and drizzle with 1/4 teaspoon of the liquor.
- Hot Chocolate Sundae: Stir in two scoops vanilla ice cream. Top with two tablespoons real dairy whipped cream, pour on chocolate syrup, and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Try One Of These Other Tasty Treats:
- * Mix a few drops of orange, maple, almond, and other flavor extracts to your hot chocolate.
- * Sprinkle with red-hot cinnamon candies.
- * Mix in marshmallows, or marshmallow fluff.
- * Flavor with a cinnamon stick.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups of the milk, the sugar, and vanilla. Bring to a simmer and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat. Sprinkle the gelatin over the remaining 1/2 cup cold milk and let dissolve for 2 minutes. Combine the cold milk and gelatin with the hot milk and sugar. Stir to dissolve the gelatin, about 5 minutes. (Heat the milk gently if the gelatin is not dissolving easily.) When the gelatin is dissolved combine the eggs with the warm milk, whisking constantly to avoid scrambling the eggs. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large measuring cup or small pitcher.
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate over a double boiler. When the chocolate is melted gradually combine the milk and egg mixture with the melted chocolate, stirring between each addition to create a smooth chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a buttered 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle the top with the almonds. Place the casserole dish in a larger dish or roasting pan. Add hot water to the outer pan until the water comes halfway up the sides of the baking dish. Bake until the sides are firm and the center is jiggles slightly, about 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Just before serving, whip the cream to soft peaks in a medium bowl using a whisk or electric hand mixer. Add the sugar and almond liqueur and whip to combine. Spoon the sformato into individual serving bowls and dollop the top with the almond liqueur whip cream.

SUGAR TOPPED CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING
When cooked the sugar becomes crunchy and adds an elegant finish. This recipe was printed in the March 2003 edition of Bon Appetit and is reported to be served at the Red Fish Grill in New Orleans. I made this for my best friends birthday bash last year. Not low in anything!
