⅝ cup softened butter
1¼ cups all purpose flour
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup thawed frozen whipped topping
½ cup Walnuts
2 pkgs (3.9 oz) Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
2½ cups milk
1 cup thawed frozen whipped topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • To Make Crust: Cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs; pat mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes; let cool.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together sugar and cheese, then fold in 1 cup whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust and sprinkle with walnuts. Beat pudding and milk in a medium bowl until thick; pour over cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate; when ready to serve spread 1 cup whipped topping over top.

I like this recipe because it has my two most favorite ingredients in the world. Cream cheese and chocolate. I came up with it (to my knowledge) one day at my home. I had a box of Instant Cream Cheese Mix and no pan for the crust. So looking into my cabinet I saw that I had one last box of chocolate pudding and wammo! A Cream Cheese and Chocolate Pudding Parfeit was created. It tasted so good and if you like rich creamy desserts with chocolate and cream cheese, then HOPEFULLY, you are sure to like this incredible recipe. I am happy to say that I am really proud of this one! For this recipe you can either make and instant Cream cheese or homemake your own.

1 box chocolate pudding
1 jar maraschino cherry

Steps:

  • Mix Cream Cheese according to instructions.
  • Mix Pudding according to instructions.
  • Get out parfeit/dessert dish.
  • Alternate first cream cheese then pudding.
  • Do this until desired amount.
  • Sprinkle gram cracker crust on top (opt).
  • Place three candied cherries on top.
  • This is a very rich recipe.

3 tablespoons Splenda sugar substitute
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, divided

Steps:

  • Place the cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and warm for about 20 seconds to soften it.
  • Then beat it with a hand mixer on low speed aproximately 30 seconds, slowly add 1/2 cup of the cream and beat for about for another 30 seconds.
  • Add the cocoa, Splenda and vanilla and continue to beat until very well blended scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed.
  • Then slowly add the remaining 1/2 cup of the cream and beat until very well blended.
  • Place in 6 individual serving dishes; Cover each with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Best Served chilled.

1 cup powdered sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces of whipped topping (1/2 of a large 16 ounce container)
1 (3.4 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding
1 (3.4 ounce) box chocolate instant pudding
3 cups cold milk
8 ounces whipped topping (remaining 1/2 of a large 16 ounce container)
chocolate sprinkles

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or shortening.
  • Crust Layer: Place the flour, powdered sugar and melted butter directly in the greased baking dish. Mix with a fork to combine and then mix well with your hands until a thick dough forms. Press the dough evenly in the bottom of the baking dish. Bake for 15-18 minutes until cookie is lightly browned. It should look slightly undercooked. Let cool completely.
  • 2nd Layer: Beat the powdered sugar, cream cheese and 8 ounces of whipped topping in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Spread on the cooled crust.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour the bottom only of a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine the cake mix, pudding mix, water, vegetable oil, vanilla, and eggs.
  • Mix on low for about 30 seconds, and then on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
