Dec 28, 2021 IMO, it would make more sense if 3 ingredients counted as a 3 pointer Even though I work at Chipotle (once a week since I have a 2nd job) I never knew much about the point system since my store didn't enforce the point system (in the past) as strictly as other stores, along with never being told what counts as 3 pointer as well, until I created this thread. Aug 4, 2022 It's my belief that Chipotle does not use anything similar to "canned chipotles in adobo", but instead makes their own basic adobo from dried chipotles. I've tried both methods, and starting with canned chipotles in adobo does taste different than actual chipotle. It's still very good, but just not the same. From reddit.com

Chipotle is apparently kinda choosy about its farmers. The chicken is good stuff as far as eating goes too; usually not gristly at all. I wouldn't recommend the beef. Chipotle is trying to maximize efficiency by assuring food portions are correct. For ex, fast food, we most always get more fries than we're supposed to. When i worked at arby's we would sell, say, 100 lbs of fries but fry orders showed we sold only 60 lbs worth. Meat is a much bigger deal than fries or soda. From reddit.com
