This sour cream dip recipe gives your ordinary sour cream dip a touch of zing! Perfect for parties, a quick appetizer, or an easy snack.

Ingredients

1 16 ounce container sour cream
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
2 tablespoons sriracha (or use your favorite hot sauce)
1-2 tablespoons paprika (or use cayenne for a spicier version)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Juice from 1 small lime
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spread the Dip'n Wedges on a single layer on a dark, non-stick baking sheet or a shallow pan.
Bake for 12 minutes, flip them over, then bake for another 12-14 minutes.
Serve with the sour cream dip!

Ingredients

4 oz Cream Cheese (Half a block)
4 oz Sour Cream
3/4 Cup Shredded Cheese
1/4 Cup Diced Onions (or personnel preference)
1 1/4 Cups Chili
2 tsp Chili Seasoning

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and chili seasoning in a bowl.
Spread mixture in the bottom of a dish.
Add chili onto of the cream cheese mixture.
Top chili with cheese.
Dice green and white onions and sprinkle on top of the dip.
Place in oven for approximately 10 minutes: until cheese is melted and chili is bubbling.
Serve!

I found a tasty chipotle dip at my local store but they discontinued it. This recipe is very close to what I used to buy and I actually like it more. Very spicy if prepared according to the recipe so beware.

Ingredients

7 ounces chipotle chiles in adobo
16 ounces sour cream
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 lime, juice of
salt (start with one good pinch)

Steps:

Place chipoptles and adobo sauce from can in a food processor. Pulse peppers until there are no large chunks. (For less spicy dip scrape seed from peppers first and or use a smaller can of chipotles).
Mix peppers, sour cream, cumin, lime and salt well. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Stir before serving with tortilla chips.

1 lb hamburger
1 (10 ounce) can enchilada sauce or 1 (10 ounce) can salsa
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
6 ounces corn chips (crushed)
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1 cup sour cream

Steps:

Brown hamburger and drain.
Put into 1 1/4 quart.
casserole dish and add tomato sauce, beans, enchilada sauce, and onion and 1 1/2 cups cheese and corn chips.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle whole corn chips around edge of casserole and put 1 sour cream in center.
Bake for 2-3 minutes longer.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of sour cream and serve.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
4 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 green onions, finely chopped
tortilla chips or raw vegetables

Steps:

Puree chilies and mayonnaise in blender or food processor.
Add sour cream, cream cheese, lime juice and salt; process until combined.
Transfer dip to serving dish; sprinkle with chopped green onions.
Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Serve with chips or vegetables.
