CHICKEN PANKO!

I have picky eaters and each time I make this for dinner, my kids are always happy! So simple & easy!

Number Of Ingredients 5

10 slice chicken breast filets
5 pinch salt and pepper
3 pinch garlic powder
1 large egg
1 1/2 c panko bread crumbs

Steps:

  • 1. Wash your chicken tenders with cool water, pat and dry a little with paper towel.
  • 2. Add your salt, pepper, garlic powder.
  • 3. Mix Well.
  • 4. On a separate bowl beat the egg and pour on the chicken.
  • 5. Pour your Panko Bread Crumbs on a plate or flat tray. Be ready to place the chicken on the bread crumbs. Place the chicken one at a time, make sure it is well covered with the bread crumbs, then set aside until you are done with the rest.
  • 6. Prepare your pan with oil and allow it to heat up. When the oil is ready start frying the chicken, chicken breast cook really fast if the pan is hot so keep an eye. Turn the chicken and do the same with the rest.
  • 7. Serve.

8 -9 chicken tenderloins or 3 chicken breasts, cut into strips
1/3 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese (shredded)
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese (powdered pizza topping cheese)
1 1/4 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 large eggs (beaten)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat eggs in a bowl. Combine cheeses, bread crumbs and spices in a separate bowl.
  • Dip chicken pieces in egg, then bread crumb mixture, then egg, then bread crumb mixture again.
  • Place chicken on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
  • Serve over pasta with marinara sauce and mozzarella. Or place chicken on a hoagie roll with marinara and mozzarella for a Chicken Parmesan Sub. Also great for dipping with marinara or ranch.

1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
salt, dash
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups italian seasoned panko breadcrumbs (I use Emeril's)
cooking spray
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In medium bowl, beat egg and milk together; add salt.
  • Lightly dust chicken with the flour.
  • Immerse chicken breasts into egg/milk mixture, coating thoroughly.
  • Spread Panko onto large plate or into large bowl.
  • Roll breasts in Panko, coating thoroughly.
  • Spray 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Place chicken in the pan and then spray the chicken with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown or internal temperature of 160 degrees F. (The time may be different depending on how thick your chicken breasts are).
  • Optional: For cheese lovers, add 1/4 cup grated parmesan to panko.

2/3 cup real mayonnaise
1/3 cup honey dijon mustard, blend
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
6 chicken breast halves, boneless
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumb
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 dash paprika (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine the mayonnaise, honey mustard, thyme, and parsley.
  • Spread over the chicken to coat thoroughly.
  • Combine the panko, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika in bowl or pie plate.
  • Press the chicken breasts in the bread crumb mixture, turning to coat thoroughly.
  • Arrange chicken on the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes; turn and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until cooked through.

2 cups panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 chicken (about 3 1/2 pounds), rinsed, patted dry, and cut into 10 serving pieces (breasts cut crosswise in half)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°F with rack in middle.
  • Stir together panko, cayenne, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a pie plate.
  • Stir together butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a small bowl, then brush all over chicken. Add chicken, 2 pieces at a time, to crumb mixture and coat evenly on both sides, pressing chicken into crumbs to help them adhere, then transfer, skin side up, to a shallow baking pan.
  • Bake chicken until well browned and cooked through, 30 to 40 minutes. Let stand, uncovered, 5 to 10 minutes to crisp.
