Ingredients

1 round loaf sourdough bread (1 pound)
1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
Minced fresh chives, optional

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°. Cut bread into 1-in. slices to within 1/2 in. of bottom of loaf. Repeat cuts in opposite direction. Insert cheese in cuts., Mix all remaining ingredients except chives; drizzle over bread. Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet., Bake 20 minutes. Unwrap; bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with chives.

Do you ever crave bread and cheese? That pretty much describes me every day of the week. Ha! Today I'm showing you how to make this delicious Cheesy Bread Dip that I promise will satisfy such a craving.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3 green onions (diced)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 round loaves of bread
Optional: sliced cucumber for serving

Steps:

Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cut the center out of one of the loaves of bread. Slice the section of bread that is removed into cubes and reserve those for later.
Spoon the cheese mixture into the cavity you created in the bread. Place the cheese-filled bread on a baking sheet. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and starting to darken on top.
In the meantime, slice the second loaf of bread into cubes for serving. You can also serve the dip with sliced cucumbers for a bread-free option.

This is a recipe I found online about 6 years ago. Whenever we are invited anywhere this is always requested. The best part of this recipe is when the dip is gone and the bread has soaked up all the yummy dip. It's heavenly!!! You can use the bread cubes or crackers or veggies to dip. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 loaf Hawaiian bread or 1 loaf rye bread, etc.
1/2 cup sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup chopped dried beef or 1/2 cup ham
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°.
Cut a round hole in the top of the bread bowl and hollow out, making sure not to puncture the sides or bottom of the bread bowl.
Cut up the hollowed out bread into cubes to use for dipping.
Combine the rest of the ingredients with an electric mixer and pour into bread bowl.
Wrap in double thick foil and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake for about 1 hour.
Enjoy!

1 loaf round rye bread
2 cups shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled into pieces

Steps:

Hollow out top of bread for the"bowl".
Save removed bread for other use.
Mix together the cheese and other ingredients.
Fill bread bowl.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Serve hot.
