1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Cook potatoes in large saucepan of boiling water 20 min. or until tender; drain potatoes. Return to saucepan.
  • Mash potatoes. Add dressing, bacon, garlic powder and pepper; mix well.
  • Stir in cheese.

2 1/2 pounds red-skinned potatoes (4 to 5 medium), chopped
Kosher salt
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 stick salted butter, cut into pieces, at room temperature
2/3 to 3/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Shredded cheddar cheese, for topping

Steps:

  • Put the potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Season generously with salt and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer until very tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, 7 to 8 minutes; transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Drain the potatoes and return to the saucepan over low heat; cook until any remaining water evaporates, about 2 minutes. Add the butter, then gradually mash in the sour cream with a potato masher. Stir in the bacon and chives, reserving 1 tablespoon of each. Transfer to a serving dish; top with cheddar and the remaining bacon and chives.

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 large egg

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a large saucepan; cover with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender; drain well., In a bowl, mash potatoes. Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, onion, egg, salt and pepper; beat until fluffy. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. 5 pounds russet or Yukon gold potatoes
8 ounces bacon (about 10 slices)
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup sour cream
1 small onion, grated on the large holes of a box grater, juice reserved
1/2 bunch fresh chives, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
2 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese (about 6 ounces)
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel potatoes, and cut into 1-inch chunks. Place in a large saucepan, and add enough cold water to cover by about 2 inches. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, and reduce to a simmer. Cook until tender and easily pierced with a paring knife, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a colander to drain; return to pan, cover, and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add bacon, and cook until crisp and browned, turning once. Transfer to paper towels to drain; let cool, andcrumble into pieces.
  • Using a fork, mash the potatoes in pan until light and fluffy. Add the cream cheese, butter, and sour cream, and stir until combined and smooth. Add theonion and any onion juice, chives, 2 cups cheese, half the bacon, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Transfer to a buttered 3-quart baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake until top is slightly golden and potatoes are heated through, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven; garnish with remaining bacon. Serve immediately.

5 large Yukon Gold or russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
2 to 3 14.5-ounce cans chicken broth
3 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 cups shredded smoked Gouda cheese
4 slices bacon, fried until crisp and drained
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh sage
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • 1 Place the potatoes and enough broth to barely cover them in a large saucepan and bring to a boil
  • 2 Cover, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer just until tender, 10 to 15 minutes
  • 3 Drain the potatoes, reserving the cooking liquid
  • 4 Return the potatoes and 1 cup of the cooking liquid to the pot and, using a potato masher or the back of a wooden spoon, mash until smooth
  • 5 Add the butter and gouda and stir until incorporated and melted; do not overmix
  • 6 If necessary, add more broth to attain the desired consistency
  • 7 Stir in the bacon, sage and salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 Serve immediately

  • Peel the potatoes, and cut them into cubes. Add the potatoes to a large sauce pan and add enough cold water to cover them by a couple inches. Cook the potatoes on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until you can easily pierce them with a fork. Transfer to a colander to drain.
  • In the meantime chop the bacon slices into small pieces. Cook the bacon until crispy and browned. Alternatively, you can cook the bacon slices first, then chop them up into small pieces. Place the bacon on paper towels to remove some of the fat.
  • Using a potato masher or fork, mash the potatoes in a big bowl until fluffy. Add the cream cheese, butter, sour cream, milk, half the cheddar cheese, half the mozzarella cheese and mix until well combined. To make them even fluffier you could use a hand mixer and mix until light and fluffy. Add the chives, half the bacon and salt and pepper. You might also want to reserve some chives for the topping.
