1 package (3 oz) instant ramen noodles ((flavor packet removed))
2 cups water
⅓ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon butter
¼ cup grated cheese
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste
scallions/green onion (green part only for garnishing (optional))

Steps:

  • Heat water in a pan or pot and bring the water to boiling hot.
  • Add ramen noodles and cook until al dente (tender).
  • Pour out water and add butter, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and grated cheese. Allow the cheese to melt slightly, then stir everything together until creamy.
  • Serve cheesy ramen hot garnishing with chopped scallions if adding.

This is a simple, easy-to-make Korean spicy cheese ramen recipe which is perfect for when you want a quick, delicious, and filling meal. 1 pack Samyang instant noodles
1 cup milk
2 cups water
grated or sliced cheese
green onions (garnish)

Steps:

  • Bring water to boil in a saucepan and add instant noodles. Cook for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour out the water from the saucepan and add milk.
  • Add the instant noodle seasoning once the milk starts bubbling. Stir well for 30 seconds.
  • While the broth bubbles, turn off the heat and add cheese onto the ramen.
  • Once the cheese has melted, garnish with green onions and serve.

I make this almost everyday for an after college snack. It's soooo tasty. I cook the noodles a little different than most people so these noodles do have a strong flavor. Of course most any package of Ramen Noodles will work, but I prefer the texture of "Maruchan" Ramen Noodles.

1 (3 ounce) package pork-flavored ramen noodles
3 -4 ham slices, thin lunchmeat style
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated (or to taste)
1 cup water

Steps:

  • Pour 1 cup water in a pan.
  • Put noodles in water.
  • Set noodles and water to boiling.
  • Once noodles have broken up rip the ham in little bite size pieces and place over the noodles.
  • Just before too much water evaporates remove from stove. I like just about a tablespoon of water leftover.
  • Add seasoning packet and stir around well.
  • Top with cheese, let melt and enjoy!
  • Important! Make sure you keep a close eye on this recipe as it cooks very fast.

1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon butter
2 slices American cheese
1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
1/2 scallion, green part only, thinly sliced on the bias, optional

Steps:

  • Bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the noodles and cook for 2 minutes. Add the flavor packet, stir, and continue to cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and carefully add the egg. Do not stir; pull the noodles over the egg and let sit for one minute to poach.
  • Carefully transfer everything to a serving bowl, add the butter, cheese and sesame seeds and mix. Garnish with the scallions if desired.
