He’s trained in the gift of the gab. Noah started acting at the age of 13 and trained at Toronto’s Second City in improv (which explains why he’s so quick on his feet with quips on Wall of Chefs).
His voice may sound familiar. Think you’ve heard Noah before on your television? He used to be the voice for a bunch of brand names, including Coca-Cola, Doritos and Molson Canadian.
He’s a cat person. Noah’s got a soft spot for cats, and shares his home with fuzzy felines (the newest member of the family is named after National Lampoon’s Clark W. Griswold).
He ran with the Olympic torch. Noah spent 106 days in 2009 hosting the Olympic Torch Relay, where he got a chance to run with the torch itself. Noah posted about the experience on his Facebook page, saying “If you watch at the end, I touch my eye, my heart, and point to the camera twice, a sign to my wife and family so they knew I was thinking of them.”
He’s a Raptors fan. Not only is he a big follower of Canada’s favourite (and only) NBA basketball team, Noah’s also an all round sporty guy (his resume lists basketball, ice skating, rollerblading, swimming, baseball, football, hockey, cycling, soccer and skiing).
He (literally) wears a lot of hats. From sombreros to fedoras, Noah’s sartorial decisions often include a bevy of snazzy toppers.
He’s been a clue in a crossword. On January 24, 2018, Noah was 33 Down in the National Post’s crossword. “Of all the press, tv & film appearances, publicity & celebrity that I’ve experienced, for some reason THIS feels the craziest,” said Noah on Instagram.
His favourite place is at home. When he’s not on the road, Noah thinks there’s no place like home. He describes himself as a happy homebody, who likes hanging out in sweatpants with his wife, Keri West.
He comes from a big family. Noah is one of eight kids: he has four brothers and three sisters (he has a massive tattoo across his back to commemorate his family ties).
He’s got range. For all of his goofy antics on Carnival Eats or wisecracking on Wall of Chefs, Noah’s played characters from tough guys to sensitive souls (he was a Hallmark Channel staple player for a while as lonely police chief Derek Sanders).
