These salty, sweet, chewy, crunchy Caramel Pretzel Cookies are filled with crunchy corn flakes, pretzels, and chewy caramel bits.

1¾ cups light brown sugar
1 cup butter (melted)
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour *
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup pretzel sticks or twists (roughly chopped (see note))
2 cups corn flakes
1 cup caramel bits
1¾ cups brown rice flour
½ cup tapioca starch
¼ cup potato starch
1 teaspoon xanthan gum

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place the sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add the hot melted butter and stir until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and stir to combine. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and oats; stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients.
  • Gradually add the pretzels, corn flakes, and caramel bits, stirring to mix everything throughout the dough. Scoop the dough into generous 2-3 tablespoon size balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leave a couple inches between each cookie.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes. Remove from the oven before the edges of the cookies have browned. The cookies should be puffy and cracked across the top. Cool for 1-2 minutes on the baking sheet and then remove to a wire rack. When the cookies have completely cooled, store in an airtight container. Enjoy!

4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. (8.6 oz.) BAKER'S Chocolate Truffle Cookie Ball Kit
3 KRAFT Caramels
2 Tbsp. crushed pretzels

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended. Shape into 12 (1-inch) balls, using a level tablespoon for each. Place on a waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Freeze 15 minutes.
  • Microwave chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH for 30 seconds; stir. Microwave 30 seconds more; stir. Continue heating and stirring in 10-second increments until completely melted.
  • Dip each ball in chocolate using a fork, letting any excess drip back into the bowl; return to baking sheet.
  • Microwave caramels and 1 tsp. water in small bowl for 30 seconds or until caramels are completely melted when stirred. Drizzle over cookie balls; immediately top with crushed pretzels and sprinkles. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until firm.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups pretzel twist, plus more for topping
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
1 ½ cups caramel candy, unwrapped

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating to incorporate before adding the next.
  • Add the flour mixture a bit at a time while beating, until it forms a smooth dough.
  • Add the pretzels to a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed pretzels until evenly combined.
  • Press a caramel flat and place in the middle of a ball of dough, about 2 tablespoons.
  • Fold the dough around the caramel, using a bit more to seal if necessary. Place on a well-greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  • While still warm, press a single pretzel into the top of each cookie. Serve with a cold glass of milk or on their own!

2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup butter, cubed
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (10 ounce) package pretzel sticks
6 -12 ounces white candy coating
6 -12 ounces milk chocolate confectionary coating
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup and butter. Bring just to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling, without stirring, at a moderate-steady rate for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in milk. Return to the heat. Reduce to medium-low; cook and stir until a candy thermometer reads 245 (firm ball stage). Keep warm.
  • Pour 1 cup caramel into a 1 cup glass measuring cup. Quickly dip each pretzel halfway into caramel. Allow excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper lined baking sheets; let stand until hardened.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup, melt white candy coating. Dip half of the caramel-coated pretzels into coating. Melt milk chocolate coating; dip remaining pretzels.
  • Drizzle white coated pretzels with milk chocolate coating; drizzle milk chocolate coated pretzels with white coating. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired. Store in an airtight container.

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup broken miniature pretzels, divided
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons salted caramel topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Combine cake mix, melted butter and eggs; beat until blended. Stir in 1/2 cup pretzels, chocolate chips and caramel topping., Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with bottom of a glass; press remaining pretzels onto top of each. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool on pans 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. , Freeze option: Freeze cookies in freezer containers, separating layers with waxed paper. To use, thaw in covered containers.

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons milk
1 1/4 cups flour
80 miniature pretzel twists
8 ounces milk chocolate melts or 8 ounces dark chocolate melts
8 ounces white chocolate candy melts
candy sprinkles

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugars until creamy. Add the caramel, vanilla, and milk and mix again. Slowly beat in the flour until a dough forms.
  • Roll the cookie dough into 40 balls. Place a ball on top of 40 pretzel twists. Top with another pretzel twist and press down gently.
  • Place the chocolate melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and heat 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until melted. Dip half of each pretzel bite into the chocolate. Place on a wax paper lined baking sheet to dry.
  • After the bites have set up, melt the white chocolate the same way. Dip the other side of the pretzel bites in the white chocolate. Place on the wax paper lined tray and top with sprinkles. Keep in a sealed container on the counter for a few days. Refrigerate if keeping longer.

6 cups small pretzels
1 (18 ounce) jar peanut butter (creamy)
1 (16 ounce) bag caramels
1 tablespoon butter
24 ounces semisweet baking chocolate (or 15 squares of chocolate almond bark)

Steps:

  • Line two baking sheets with waxed paper.
  • Arrange pretzels on baking sheets in rows.
  • Put a teaspoon of peanut butter on each pretzel.
  • Melt caramels with butter in saucepan over med. heat until melted.
  • Put 1/2 - 1 tsp of caramel on each pretzel (depending on your tastes).
  • Put in fridge one hour or until hardened.
  • Melt chocolate according to package directions.
  • Dip each pretzel into chocolate and return to waxed sheets.
  • Refridgerate an additional hour.
  • Serve.

Steps:

  • PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Line 13 x 9-inch baking pan with foil; lightly grease.
  • FOR PRETZEL CRUST.
  • COMBINE melted butter, pretzels and 1/4 cup brown sugar in medium bowl. Press mixture onto bottom of prepared baking pan.
