Caramel Apple Snack Mix Food

CARAMEL SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Spray a large roasting pan with non-stick cooking spray.
• In a medium-size microwave safe bowl, mix butter, white corn syrup and brown sugar. Place the mixture in the microwave and cook 2 minutes, or until butter melts.
• Place the cereal, pecans and almonds into the prepared roasting pan. Pour the melted butter mixture over the cereal and nuts and mix gently until the cereal and nuts are coated.
• Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
• As the snack mix is cooling, be sure to continue to stir so that the mix will not harden in one big lump.

CINNAMON CARAMEL APPLE PUPPY CHOW SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Add one powdered sugar and cinnamon to large gallon Ziploc bag and shake. Set aside.
• Add candy melts to microwave safe bowl and heat in microwave in 30 second increments until melted.
• Add in caramel apple frosting and stir until well combined.
• Add Chex cereal to large bowl, and pour candy melt mixture over cereal.
• Pour candy melt mixture over Chex cereal and sir until coated.
• Pour cereal into bag with powdered sugar and cinnamon and shake until coated well. Break up clumps as needed so all cereal gets coated properly.

CARAMEL APPLE SNACK MIX

• In a large greased roasting pan, combine the popcorn, cereals and peanuts; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup; bring to a rolling boil over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Cook, without stirring, until mixture turns a medium amber color, about 8 minutes. , Remove from the heat; quickly stir in vanilla and baking soda until mixture is light and foamy. Immediately pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. , Bake at 250° for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread mixture onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Cool completely. Store in airtight containers.

CARAMEL APPLE GRAPES

Steps:

• Poke toothpicks into your grapes; set aside.
• In a small pot, over medium-low heat, combine the caramel bits and cream. Stir until melted. Reduce heat to lowest setting just to keep warm.
• Dip the grapes into the caramel sauce and then into the crushed nuts. Place on a plate to set. Repeat until all the grapes are used.
• That's it! Pop those babies in your mouth and enjoy!

Steps:

• Slice the apples as thinly as possible. Spread out on a cookie sheet that is covered with parchment paper or a silicon baking sheet.
• Spread a thin layer of caramel onto each apple slice.
• Bake at 200 degrees for about 2 hours. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Store in airtight container at room temperature

CARAMEL SNACK ATTACK MIX

Steps:

• Place butter, brown sugar and Karo syrup in sauce pot and boil for 6 minutes without stirring.
• Combine 4 cups of any combination of ingredients you want in large bowl.
• Pour hot butter/sugar/Karo mixture over and mix well.
• Spread mixture on waxed paper to cool and break into small chunks.Store in airtight container. Can be frozen.

• 3. Once it comes to a good boil, cook for 5 minutes, without stirring.
• 4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda until light and foamy.
• 5. Pour over popcorn mix and stir until coated.
• 6. Spread onto 2 baking sheets that have been sprayed with PAM. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
• 7. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
