CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Special equipment: a 12-ounce microwave-safe ceramic mug and a microwave oven
• Put the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt if using in a 12-ounce microwave-safe ceramic mug. Blend thoroughly with a fork. Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla if using and blend until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.
• Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Do not overcook or the cake will be dry. Let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before eating.

CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A MUG

Steps:

• In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, sugar, cocoa, oil, salt and vanilla until fully combined. Pour into a 12-ounce mug and top with the chocolate chips.
• Microwave on high power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, depending on how gooey you like your cake. Carefully remove from the microwave and let cool slightly. Top with whipped cream and serve.

ANGEL FOOD CUPCAKES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a 12 cup muffin tin with paper bake cups.
• Prepare batter as directed on the box. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
• Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until done.

MICROWAVE MUG CAKE

Steps:

• Add 4 tbsp self-raising flour, 4 tbsp caster sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa powder to the largest mug you have (to stop it overflowing in the microwave) and mix.
• Add 1 medium egg and mix in as much as you can, but don't worry if there's still dry mix left.
• Add the 3 tbsp milk, 3 tbsp vegetable or sunflower oil and a few drops of vanilla essence and mix until smooth, before adding 2 tbsp chocolate chips, nuts, or raisins, if using, and mix again.
• Centre your mug in the middle of the microwave oven and cook on High for 1½ -2 mins, or until it has stopped rising and is firm to the touch.

CAKE IN A CUP RECIPE

Steps:

• In a medium sized mug (be sure it is microwave safe), add the vegetable oil, egg, milk and whatever flavoring you are using. Mix up these ingredients until well combined.
• Add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Again mix until well combined. If you are using any of the suggested add ins, now's the time to add them.
• Cook in the microwave on high for about 2 1/2 minutes depending on your brand of microwave. The end result should look like the photo at the top.

COFFEE CAKE IN A CUP

Steps:

• Grab a mug from the cabinet (microwave safe).
• Put tablespoon of butter in and soften for 10-15 seconds in the microwave.
• Stir in sugar until fluffy.
• Add the egg (You will want to only use abouthalf of it for a good consistency, but use as much as you need to).
• Add sour cream.
• Stir in vanilla.
• Add flour and baking powder.
• Stir.
• In a seperate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of butter, 2 tablespoons of flour, brown sugar, and cinammon.
• Smash it together with your fingers for a few seconds (until firm).
• Put the crumb topping mixture into the cake mixture.
• Microwave for 1 minute on high. Then microwave it for ten more seconds.
• Enjoy!

A CUP OF COFFEE CAKE

Steps:

• Place walnuts and chocolate chips in a small plastic bag. Whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. Transfer to a 1-qt. glass jar. Layer with brown sugar and walnut mixture. Cover and store in a cool dry place up to 3 months., To prepare coffee cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Whisk egg, coffee and canola oil. Add flour and brown sugar mixture; mix until combined. Pour batter into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
