1 lb brussels sprouts, halved
4 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¼ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Remove the stem from each sprout and cut in half. Place the brussels sprouts in a large bowl.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and toss to cover.
  • Spread the sprouts onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a 400˚F (200˚C) oven for 20 minutes.
  • Flip the sprouts, then bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the sprouts are fork-tender and golden.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed, cut in half
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup KRAFT Classic Caesar Dressing
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Heat oil in large ovenproof skillet on medium-high heat. Add Brussels sprouts; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until crisp and evenly browned. Remove from heat.
  • Bring water, dressing and garlic powder to boil in saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add shredded cheese; stir until melted. Add to Brussels sprouts; mix lightly. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Bake 12 to 15 min. or until sauce is hot and bubbly, and top is lightly browned.

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cup shredded Parmesan
Nonstick cooking spray, for the skillet

Steps:

  • Put a 10-inch cast-iron skillet in the oven and preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Toss the Brussels sprouts with the olive oil in a medium bowl. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Add the Parmesan and toss together.

  • Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and heat oven to 500 degrees. Toss Brussels sprouts, 3 tbsp oil, water, ¾ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp pepper in a large bowl until sprouts are coated. I changed a few things but kept it pretty close to the recipe on the package. The Maui onion is a sweet onion similar to the Viladia onion. You may want to increase the seasonings to overcome the strong brussel sprout flavor...at least the one I ate was strong!

3 -4 tablespoons water (for steaming)
1 lb fresh Brussels sprout
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
freshly grated black pepper (to taste)
1 tablespoon maui onion, finely chopped
1 -3 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 tablespoons parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Microwave steam brussel sprouts in 4-6 tablespoons water -- leaving small opening in plastic wrap cover to vent. Steam until tender.
  • In separate pan, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add pepper, onion and garlic. Saute 2-3 minutes, until onions are tender and golden brown.
  • Add brussel sprouts to pan and mix to coat, cooking for a minute or until done.
  • Remove pan from heat and sprinkle cheese over the brussel sprouts.
  • Cover with lid for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Remove lid, stir again then serve.

1 medium onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450degrees. Remove any wilted or yellowed leaves from the brussel sprouts and trim the stem close to the heads. Cut each vertically into thin slices.
  • Break the onion into rings and add to the sprouts along with the garlic and a light sprinkling of salt. Spray generously or drizzle with olive oil, toss the vegetables to coat them lightly with oil. Spread out evenly in a non stick baking dish. I think you could also spray a baking sheet or line it with foil.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes or until the vegetable are lightly browned and tender, stirring once or twice as they roast.

15 Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, smashed with the flat of a knife
freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional)
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Melt butter and olive oil in a medium skillet (over medium-high heat) until butter is foamy.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add smashed garlic and cook until lightly browned.
  • Remove garlic and discard.
  • Add sprouts cut side down, cover, and cook without stirring on medium-low heat 10-15 minutes or until tender when pierced with a knife.
  • The cut side of the sprouts should get nice and browned, with a nutty, buttery flavor enhanced by garlic.
  • Top with freshly grated parmesan and salt& pepper to taste.

50g butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, crushed
50g panko breadcrumbs
25g parmesan or vegetarian alternative, finely grated

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Tip the sprouts into a bowl, drizzle over the melted butter, add the garlic and season. Toss the sprouts until they're well coated in the butter, then add the breadcrumbs and parmesan, and toss again.
  • Tip the sprouts onto a baking tray, making sure they're well-spaced apart in a single layer. (If they're packed too closely they will steam instead of roasting.) Place as many as possible cut-side down for maximum crispiness. Press any excess crumbs onto the sprouts to help them stick.
  • Roast for 25-30 mins until crisp and golden.
