Blonde Sangria Food

FRENCH BLONDE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the grapefruit juice, vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and lemon bitters and shake well. Strain into 2 coupe glasses. Float a thin lemon slice on top of each.

BLONDE SANGRIA

Steps:

• Mix all liquid ingredients with the ice into a punch bowl, then add the fruit.
• Stir, serve up, and enjoy, but be careful, it sneaks up on you, but it tastes sooo good! Also good to add champagne instead of wine.

SANGRIA

Steps:

• Place the fruit, sugar, and brandy in a 2 to 3 quart pitcher and stir to combine. Set in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours. Add the wine and stir to combine. Serve over ice.

SANGRIA

Steps:

• Cut the orange into thin slices, and then cut the slices into wedges, and place in a large pitcher.
• Cut one long slice of rind from the lemon and add to the oranges.
• Slice completely around the peaches, cutting down to the pit, and twist the halves in opposite directions until the 2 halves come apart.
• Remove and discard the pits, slice the peaches and add to the oranges.
• Add the sugar to the fruit and stir.
• Pour in the wine and stir until the sugar dissolves.
• Taste and add more sugar or a squeeze or 2 of lemon juice to taste.
• Chill for at least an hour.
• When ready to serve, use a long handled spoon to stir and press the fruit against the side of the pitcher to extract some of the juice.
• Put the ice into glasses and pour the chilled Sangria over and add some fruit from the pitcher to each glass.

BLONDE SANGRIA

Steps:

• 1. Place sugar in punch bowl or pitcher.
• 2. Cut 2 or 3 thin slices from the centers of each lemon and each orange set slices aside.
• 3. Squeeze juice and pulp from end pieces of fruit into the punch bowl and mix well to dissolve sugar.
• 4. Add the mountain rhine wine or chablis. Add ice and club soda. (Do NOT stir after adding soda.)
• 5. Garnish with fruit slices.
