Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade Food

BLACKBERRY BOURBON LEMONADE

Steps:

• In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries, lemon wheel and the brown sugar syrup.
• Fill the shaker 1/2 way with ice.
• Add the lemon juice, bourbon and 2 drops of bitters.
• Close the cocktail shaker and shake for a full minute.
• Strain the cocktail through a cocktail mesh strainer. (optional but this easily removes the seeds)
• Pour over ice and garnish with a torched lemon wheel, blackberry and basil.

BLACKBERRY WHISKEY LEMONADE RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• In a medium pot, combine the blackberries, sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the berries break down. Remove from the heat.
• Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the pulp and seeds. Set aside to cool.
• In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, blackberry simple syrup, and whiskey. Chill until ready to serve.
• Before serving, add the club soda and stir to combine.
• Serve over ice, garnished with a few blackberries and a slice of lemon.
• Enjoy!

BEER-BOURBON LEMONADE

Steps:

• Mix 1 1/2 cups lemonade, 1 bottle beer and the lemons in a bowl. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze until firm, 3 hours.
• Mix the remaining 4 1/4 cups lemonade, 3 bottles beer and the bourbon in a pitcher.
• Fill beer mugs or tall glasses with the lemon ice cubes. Pour in the drink.
