BEST BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE

- Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, until softened, 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle over the flour, dry mustard and cayenne and stir to mix it in well. Continue to cook for 1 minute.
- Next, add the milk, stirring constantly; cook until thickened, about 2 minutes. Add the cream cheese and Parmesan, stirring until totally combined. Stir in the pepper, salt and paprika. Add the processed cheese, stirring until completely melted. Next, add 1 1/2 cups of the Cheddar and stir until melted. Then, fold in the broccoli and pimentos.
- In a large baking dish, create a base with half of the rice. Top with half of the broccoli cheese sauce. Repeat with the remaining rice, then the remaining sauce. Sprinkle the rest of the Cheddar evenly over the top of the casserole. Bake until bubbly, about 30 minutes.

- Cook rice according to package directions. , In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the rice, broccoli, soup, milk, seasoning blend, salt and pepper. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish., Toss bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over beef mixture. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until heated through.

Steps:
- Brown ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. While beef is browning, cook Minute Rice according to directions, mix in Cheez Whiz and soup.
- Pour browned beef mixture into 9x13 baking dish, cover with broccoli, then pour cheese and rice mixture over all. Cover all with crushed potato chips.
- Bake at 350°F for 30-45 minutes until hot through.

- Preheat oven to 400°. In a skillet, cook beef and onion in oil until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, rice, soup and water. , Place cooked broccoli in an 11x7-in. baking dish; spoon meat mixture over top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake, uncovered, until heated through, 15-20 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired.

BROCCOLI, RICE & GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE
I make this casserole frequently for supper because it is cheap, fast, filling and great for kids. It's even good for very young kids who are just beginning to eat table foods. When I was a kid, we would have this as a side dish for holiday dinners, but I make it as a simple supper with crackers or dinner rolls and salad. You can substitute ingredients to fit what you have on hand.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Brown ground beef until no longer pink, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain fat from cooked ground beef.
- In a large bowl, stir ground beef together with all remaining ingredients.
- Dump the entire mixture into the casserole dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes (give or take) until casserole is bubbly and rice is tender.
