BANANA SMASH PUNCH
My friend, Cloetta and I have served this punch for many years at special occasions. I love the banana-citrus flavor. The base can be made days earlier and and frozen. It is so easy.

- Mix together and freeze in several small containers.
- Pour 7-up over the frozen mixture and serve as a slush punch.
BANANA SLUSH PUNCH
This is a favorite recipe of my late mother-in-law's family, used for all celebrations.

Steps:
- In a blender, combine bananas, sugar and 3 cups water. Blend until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and stir in pineapple juice. Blend in orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate and 3 cups water. Divide into 3 plastic containers and freeze until solid.
- Remove from freezer 3 to 4 hours before serving. Using one portion at a time, place slush in a punch bowl and pour in 1 liter of ginger ale for each.

Steps:
- in large mixing bowl combine butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and flour; blend until crumbly.
- firmly press crumb mixture into a 9 inch square baking pan.
- bake at 350 for 10 minutes; set aside to cool.
- in another bowl combine remaining sugar, 1 tbsp flour, and salt, blend well.
- add eggs; 1 at a time beating well after each.
- blend in liqueur.
- mix in nuts.
- spread evenly over cooled crust.
- bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
- cool in pan before cutting into bars.
