- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels. Transfer them all to a big bowl. Add the dry rub and make sure both sides of the chicken thighs are nicely coated with the dry rub.
- Add the barbecue sauce, honey and liquid smoke to the chicken. Stir to combine well. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven, save the dripping and serve immediately.

Steps:
- Remove chicken from fridge and let stand at room temperature while you mix the sauce. Preheat oven to 425ºF.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Measure all remaining ingredients directly onto baking sheet and stir to combine. Add chicken and turn to coat evenly, rubbing some sauce under the skin.
- Bake in centre of oven for about 45 minutes, covering with foil about halfway through, until centre reaches 165ºF.

- In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, warm the vegetable oil. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the remaining sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer about 15 minutes. Set aside. Pour 1/2 of the sauce in a small bowl for basting the chicken.
- I like to pound the chicken a little before I grill it so it cooks evenly. Grill the chicken on medium high heat, you want to cook it 7 to 10 minutes on each side. It tastes best if you only turn it once.
- Baste generously with the small bowl of sauce every 3 or 4 minutes. Serve with the remaining sauce on the side for dipping.

- Pat chicken dry. Combine rub ingredients. Rub over chicken pieces; refrigerate, covered, in a shallow dish 2 hours., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sauce ingredients, adding cayenne if desired. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, to allow flavors to blend, 8-10 minutes., On an oiled grill rack, grill chicken, covered, over indirect medium heat, turning frequently, until a thermometer reads 165°, 35-45 minutes., Reduce heat to medium-low. This is my own recipe. I love the way they get so gooey and sticky...goes really well with some homemade mac and cheese, some bbq baked beans, and a biscuit.....mmmmm....yum!

- Wash, dry, and season the wings with the salt, garlic, pepper, cayenne, sugar, and paprika. Preheat the oven to 375.
- Spray a cookie sheet with a generous spray of cooking spray.
- Place the wings in a single layer on the cookie sheet, and place in the oven.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, depending on the size of the wings, turning once.
- While they are baking, make the sauce by slowly simmering the sauce ingredients over the lowest heat.
- When the wings are done baking, carefully dip them in the sauce, and place them back in the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling.

A little on the sweet side but kids will love this dish. This is one of my moms recipes, so the cooking time is about an hour until chicken is cooked through and the chicken gets brownish from the sauce. I bet it would be even with a smokey barbecue sauce like bull's eye.

- Combine all ingredients except chicken and shake or blend until well mixed.
- In a large bowl, place chicken pieces skin-side down. Pour the honey sauce over the chicken and rotate pieces to coat completely. Cover bowl and marinate in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
- Line the bottom of a large broiler pan with foil to catch drippings.
- Remove chicken from sauce and place skin side down in pan on rack. Baste chicken with honey sauce.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and baste again with honey sauce. Bake 30 minutes more or until done. If chicken browns too fast, cover with foil.

EASY HONEY BARBECUE CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

- Season chicken legs with seasoning salt and pepper.
- In a fry pan with oil, brown the chicken legs on all sides.
- Place the chicken legs in a greased casserole dish.
