4 firm bananas
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons butter ( melted )
Salt to taste
2 to 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Peel the bananas, and place the whole peeled bananas in a well-greased baking dish .
Brush the bananas generously with the melted butter, and sprinkle them lightly with salt.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bananas.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until bananas are tender.

cooking spray
4 firm bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, grated
1 ½ teaspoons ground nutmeg

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
Arrange banana halves in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle maple syrup over bananas and top with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, 10 to 15 minutes.

1 tsp vanilla
Sprinkle of cinnamon

Steps:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Unpeel the banana and place in a baking dish.
Place a pat of butter right on top of the banana.
Sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar trying to cover the whole banana.
Finish with a drizzle of vanilla on top.
Bake for about 10-15 minutes.
Repeat with additional bananas.

4 large ripe bananas, unpeeled
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Cut off the ends of the bananas and place the unpeeled bananas on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until their skins burst and turn black. Discard the skins (once cooled a bit) and cut the bananas lengthwise.
