Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups - delicious little bites of cream cheese, cheddar, sour cream, and bacon baked in crispy wonton wrapper cups. The perfect party appetizer and game day snack!

Number Of Ingredients 12

24 wonton wrappers
4 tablespoons (57g) butter, melted
8oz (227g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup (113g) sour cream
4oz can (or 1-2 fresh) jalapenos diced, or to taste
3 tablespoons green onions, sliced
½ cup (57g) cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup (57g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
¼ cup (28g) crumbled bacon, about 3-4 slices
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup (57g) cheddar cheese, shredded
Crumbled bacon, sliced green onions

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Brush the wonton wrappers on both sides with melted butter. Press into muffin pans. Bake until slightly golden, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Mix the filling ingredients and spoon evenly into the baked wonton cups. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake until the cheese is melted and the wonton cups are golden brown, about 12 minutes. Garnish with crumbled bacon and sliced green onion.
  • Remove from muffin pan and serve.

All the tasty goodness of Bacon Jalapeno Poppers inside an easy baked wonton cup! Fresh jalapenos, chopped bacon, cream cheese, cheddar and more! These are going to be a big hit!

12 Wonton Wrappers
6 ounces Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Sour Cream
1 cup bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
3 Jalapenos (seeds removed and diced)

Steps:

  • Spray each muffin cup with cooking spray. Then place one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup with corners slightly overlapping.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapenos. Stir until well combined.
  • Add filling to the prepared wonton cups, Garnish with additional bacon or cheddar cheese if desired!
  • Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges of the wonton wrappers are golden.

12 wonton wrappers, *I found them in the produce section of my local grocery store
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
12 oz. bacon, cooked & crumbled (reserve 2 Tbsp.)
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese, reserve 2 Tbsp.
3-4 jalapeños, seeded and chopped (**for more spice, do not remove all the seeds)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup; bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove from oven and cool slightly.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, and chopped jalapeños.
  • Spoon filling into wonton cups, then sprinkle with reserved bacon and cheese.
  • Return to oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until wontons are golden brown and cheese is melted.

6 slices bacon
2 units jalapeno
24 units wonton wrappers
1.5 packages cream cheese
0.5 teaspoons garlic powder

Steps:

  • Cook bacon slices until crisp, then chop into small pieces. Finely chop jalapenos. Spray mini muffin tins with cooking spray and place one wonton wrapper in each tin, creating a cup shape. Bake wontons empty at 350 degrees F until lightly brown approx 7 min. Remove and set aside to cool. Do not remove wontons from the tins.
  • In a bowl combine cream cheese, bacon, jalapenos and garlic. Mix well.
  • Fill each wonton to full and return to oven to bake an additional 5 min until brown and crispy. Remove from tin, plate and ENJOY.
