AVOCADO SANDWICH
Steps:
- In a blender place peeled avocado, add a pinch of chile powder, juice of one lime, salt and pepper, and add some nonfat yogurt. Thin with ice water if necessary. Blend to a pouring consistency. Serve over mesclun, pink grapefruit segments and diced red pepper.
- Cut avocados in half; remove pits and gently scoop out insides, leaving shell intact. Combine the avocados, scallions, cucumbers, radishes, tamari, oil, garlic, and add to shells. Top with yeast, sprouts and sesame meal.
- Oxygen, or exposure to air is what causes your guacamole to turn brown. Making guacamole, or any avocado dish in advance make certain that you block out the air by making sure the surface of your dip is in contact with the plastic wrap.
DELICIOUS AVOCADO SANDWICH
This was always a lunchtime favorite with my gal pals. It's simple, delicious, and refreshing! The measurements for the ingredients are all approximate, as this sandwich is best when tailored to personal taste. Particularly scrumptious on potato, oat, or country white bread. Enjoy!

AVOCADO PASTE SANDWICH
We have an avocado tree and I make these sandwiches for myself all the time. My 16 month old does not like avocados and this is the only way he'll eat them. There is a variety that tastes very buttery and my grandmother used to call the avocado "poor man's butter" because she would use it on bread instead of butter when times were hard. By itself the paste is an excellent first food for baby.

Steps:
- Smash avocado on a plate with a fork.
- Spread between two pieces of bread.
- Serve.
- Omit the bread and the paste alone makes a good first baby food.
- If I'm packing this for lunch sometimes I'll rub the avocado with a cut lime before making the paste.
- For the adults we add a pinch of salt. Baby/toddler - no salt.

- Healthy Avocado Egg Breakfast Sandwich. This list has plenty of lunch and dinner options. But I wanted to start with a breakfast alternative to avocado toast.
- Avocado Club Sandwich. The avocado club features two types of cheese, a juicy tomato, and crisp lettuce. Then, there’s the avocado and bacon. You can’t very well have an avocado club sandwich without those.
- Tuna Avocado Sandwich. Want to try something new in your tuna salad? Add avocado into the mix! It makes it thicker, chunkier, and much creamier. As far as taste is concerned, it doesn’t alter it very much.
- Turkey Bacon and Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwich. This sandwich is a few steps up from your typical grilled cheese. The recipe’s author calls it a BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato).
- Turkey Sandwich with Avocado, Bacon, and Special Sauce. Let’s talk about the special sauce on this sandwich for a minute. It’s tangy, zingy, and downright delicious.
- Peruvian Triple Sandwich: Sándwich Triple. A triple-layer sandwich where every layer is different? Yes, please! This Peruvian classic will become a fast favorite in your home.
- Simple Greek Avocado Sandwich. This sandwich may be simple to make, but its taste is anything but ‘simple.’ It has a robust, zesty flavor featuring briny olives, earthy peppers, and bold basil pesto.
- Vegetarian Avocado Sandwich. Garlicky avocado spread on one piece of bread and Dijon mustard on the other. That should tell you everything you need to know about how bold this sandwich is.
- Chorizo Grilled Cheese. You probably don’t picture a grilled cheese sandwich when you think of chorizo. This recipe is about to change that, though. After trying it, grilled cheese might be the only thing you think of when you imagine chorizo.
- Chipotle Grilled Chicken with Avocado Sandwich. I don’t care where you buy your grilled chicken sandwiches. This one is about to blow your usual one out of the water.
